Hey! I would absolutely do the surgery over again. It has changed my life in such a positive way... I can't even begin to tell you. It hasn't been easy but it absolutely has been worth it. I had a huge anxiety attack before surgery in the pre-op room and actually considered walking out. I think the hardest thing is that it is a choice and you are always concerned whether or not you are making the right one. I am confident in the fact that I made the right choice, I now no longer have to live life being heavy and unhappy. I never have to weigh 264lbs and I never have to buy a pair of 22 jeans again! I am a huge advocate for this surgery because of the way it has made me feel about myself.
Fill- they are hands down a piece of cake! I hate needles, hate shots, hate IV's, but fills dont bother me. It is pretty much painless.
Best of luck to you regardless of what you decide to do.

Hi!! How excited for Monday you must be! Lap-band has been the most amazing thing ever for me! I was soooo nervous the day of surgery, seriously contemplating if it was the right option. Now 5 months out... I am so thankful I went through with it. I weighed 264 before surgery and was juts getting heavier and heavier every year. It is so nice now that every time I step on the scale the number goes down. The hardest thing for me was the first month... liquids and mushy foods... it was awful. Just keep your eye and the prize and stick to it tho... it the long run it really helps you. Also I had to learn how to eat all over again. I feed myself like I would a two-year old. Cut every thing in little bites and take my time chewing, I eat soooo slow! If you have any questions at all let me know! Best of luck to you! It is such an exciting journey!

Heyy! Thanks for the compliments! You are gorgeous yourself!
As far as my trainer... well I'm pretty lucky because he is also my boyfriend! We do about 30 minutes of cardio and weight training. I think it is really important to keep your muscles strong and also help my skin from getting super loose! He works at Pure Fitness on Rural and Baseline... if you ever want to meet up I'd be happy to show you what I do daily. I have tons of free passes so don't worry if you don't have a membership.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Hi Cammy,
Just read your story and wanted you to know that you are not alone. You are absolutely beautiful and just need to remind yourself that every now and again. Surround yourself with people that love and care about you.
Lap band has impacted my life so much and I am only 4 months out. I am down 40 pounds and feel so much better about myself. I feel that Lap band was the best decision I have ever made. I wish you all the best of luck with the surgery.
If you ever have any questions please know that I am here.
