  1. Thanks! I've been to the state forum as well and said my hellos. Hopefully I'll be able to interact with some people in my area.
  2. Good luck Alyx! I just was banded by Dr. Schroder on the 5th. You'll be fine!
  3. I'm behind on this discussion but I'm newly banded by Dr. Schroder at St. Mary's and I also thought that the experience was good. It's nice to know that there are others who attend the support groups on here. I've been thinking about going to some of them.
  4. I was banded on the 5th and am also going back to work tomorrow. I'm with you on getting in all the water. I haven't been successful at that yet because I forget and then I'm hungry so I have to stop drinking 30 minutes before and then it takes me so long to eat/drink and then I have to wait an hour after. I'm sure that I will settle into a routine but it's hard right now to do what I should.
  5. Hello everyone! My name is Lauren and was just banded on 2/5/09. I'm progressing well and was lucky with getting away with only one incision. Overall, it's been a positive experience so far except I'm getting so sick of Carnation Instant Breakfast! I can't wait for Thursday when I'm on the soft-mushy diet and can have a little more variety. So, any other Richmond area members out there? Does anyone attend the support group meetings at St. Mary's?
