  1. Lol...no, I lost 111 pounds in 13 months. But I plateaued for two months--the clothes got bigger but my weight remained the same. My point was if the weight remains the same and the clothes size is smaller, that is a good thing! I'd rather be a smaller size and weigh more which means I'm toned, than weight less but be a bigger size. Does that make sense?
  2. I found they also make Sugar Free CW. it is very good, can't even tell the difference. I made my orange fluff for Easter yesterday with Sugar Free pudding, jello and CW. it also has mandarin oranges and pineapple. Everyone liked it and you'd never know it was Sugar Free.
  3. clear liquids, one week. lost 16 pounds, it SUCKED. I cheated and had one scrambled egg for three of the seven days. I was tired, dizzy and CRANKY. i took my two regular daily meds.
  4. I'd agree. if they serve soup, you could do that, but try to "share" with your significant other so it looks like you've eaten something...if you had a really bad stuck episode, you will be swollen and I've had days of stuck and lunch and stuck again at dinner (my surgeon never said to do liquids after a stuck episode, but I found out the hard way!)
  5. I've never stuck my fingers down my throat (i take that back, I tried once but it didn't work), but I have hovered over the sink and attempted to heave. I do try other things first before it gets that bad. I've done--sips of hot Water, gulps of hot water, pineapple juice, carbonated beverages, Papaya enzymes, sitting on a low seat and putting my head between my knees while bending over as far as I can, jumping up and down, hitting myself on the chest, sliming and spitting as much as possible until the food goes down, walking, jogging, deep breathing...pretty much anything anyone has suggested, I've done it! I hate puking...but it's happened maybe 3-4 times. I've PB'd much more than that.
  6. I'm a B cup now. There, I've said it. it hurts, but it's out there. I was almost a D at 282, a C at 225 and a B at 175...and I will be getting an augmentation with a lift along with some other areas...
  7. I have also gotten very stuck on Triscuits. I love them, but have sworn them off for an undetermined amount of time!
  8. I feel bad for saying this, but it grosses me out to watch my own husband eat sometimes. He's 6'5" and about 350. he would never consider the surgery because he has seen what I go through and just couldn't picture himself being that disciplined. he can easily eat two plates of food, or finish what is on my plate or my kids' plates. And while that isn't so bad, it does gross me out. it must be a mindset that changes over time, because I used to be able to MATCH him bite for bite, which got me to 282 pounds...I wish the mindset of "I'm still fat!" would change too!
  9. I've been the exact same weight for about two months, but my 14's are getting too big and the 12's are starting to fit pretty well. I'd like to be a 10. yes, it would be nice if the scale would cooperate, but fitting into smaller clothes and looking thinner is a bigger success than the actual weight--I can be 175 pounds of muscle in a smaller size because I'm toned, or 150 pounds of flab in a bigger size--I'll choose the former.
  10. I am doing the same thing, I'm sorry I can be of much help! Bumping because I'd like to know too...Seems I can get stuck after 5 bites, but once that goes down (after a few minutes), I can eat until the cows come home!
  11. I'm in the middle of this too. I was quoted $27,000 for an arm lift, extended TT, breast enhancement with a lift and not sure what getting the back fat and skin removed is called. I think it sounds a little steep, but I'm seeing two more in the next two weeks to compare surgeons and prices.
  12. I use the GNC Wheybolic Extreme and it foams also. Great for adding to a cup of decaf! Mine goes down after about 20 minutes, but you can also take a spoon and skim it off if it bothers you. I like mine frothy.
  13. I confess to thee almighty LapBand god, I just ate a half of a regular size bag of Cheetos Puffcorn. cheese flavor. And it was damn good. The bag is now gone and I will not purchase another. so I only ate like 400 calories, but I'm a little grossed out by my lack of self-control...and it's not the first time with this devilish treat...guess I found another slider food... ETA: sorry for hijacking! but I feel better after confessing...
  14. You'll learn that your new "full" feeling is high up in your chest, almost in your throat. some people have signs like burping, hiccuping, deep breaths, etc. and they know to stop. Mine is hiccuping and deep breaths. If I eat another 2 bites after that, I will be overfull or get stuck. I had to learn the hard way that when I would feel that pain, i wasn't necessarily stuck every time, that is my full feeling now. it's a completely new feeling and everyone is different.
  15. if you can drink water and it stays down, you are not stuck. You could have pulled or stretched something maybe? from my experience, if I'm stuck, the food is either down or up within 45 minutes.
