  1. Hi, well, I am at 34# lost and have joined a gym and have not gone back to smoking. I feel I am a bit slow on my loss but am thrilled I am working out! Feel great!
  2. Nut= Nutritionist I have had wine and Vodka, wine has a lot more calories. I opt for Vodka & Water with lime, no issues
  3. I just joined a very small gym. 1st workout yesterday, lasted 30min on a treadmill and am happy with that. Start any work out with small victories that way you can say to yourself "I did it", even if it is only 10 mins. I would start doing your training sooner than later, by March you will be ready. You will have lost 45lbs by then and you are already used to hauling that around anyway, just get your lungs and heart ready! Good luck.
  4. Thanks you guys!!! I wonder if I am eating too little. I increased my calories the past 2 days and this morning I dropped 2 lbs. I know that stepping on the scale everyday is wrong but I can't help it....it taunts me...."step on me, STEP ON ME!" and there I go, like a puppy scampering to get a treat. LOL. SO glad I have my November Girls!
  5. My Dr. believes in starvation mode as do I. You even mention it in your last post... You will see very quickly why you can not live on 300-400 calories when you try it yourself. Please take our advice and follow a healthy eating plan.
  6. So how much are u guys losing?? I feel like I am not losing anymore and am heading to a 2nd stall. I must be doing something wrong. R U guys weighing in daily and what r u losing weekly and how many calories are you eating..feeling defeated.

    I am in the same boat...scale goes up and down1-2 lbs. WTH???? I have lost but been in and out of 2 major stall in 6 weeks
  8. Hi Guys! Well, I find myself not losing or losing a pound and gaining 1/2 pound back. I plan on being even more strict starting tomorrow (Mon). Have had a knot/uncomfortable feeling right below my boobs in the middle. Ate some nuts by accident(thought I could have them at this point) and drank some wine on NYE (Bad, I know) and am now wondering if that is why I have this feeling.
  9. Oh and she said 800 cal max right now, 60-90 protein and lots of water.
  10. I think it maybe over..the stall I mean. Down this morning 5 lbs...but my scale is up and down. Saw my Nut and Dr. yesterday. He was great, said I look good. She, the NUT was a Debbie Downer! I told her my goal and she said I would not reach it. Well, thank you Miss Positive Pants. She said to expect the average of 60% of excess weight and that a lot if people are still very over weight even after WLS. I think she is wrong...I hope she is wrong!
  11. OK, that was not cool of Mom. I too don't want people to know either, just a few. Hang in, you are doing the right thing. SOunds like your Mom is just bummed that you will be skinny and not her .

  13. I am still in a stall. UGH! Over a week now. I also am SO SO sore on my right side. Might have done too much. Anyone else still in a stall?
  14. I made chick salad with mayo and refried beans with melted cheese on it. Mashed potato's are good too.
