  1. I just went in for my very first fill on thursday, but I don't know know how much my dr. put in. But I feel like I had more restriction before my fill. should I call my doctor or give it another couple days to see. I know that I am not hungry now at all, but it seems like when I do eat everything goes down fine.
  2. A big NSV for me is when i am able to sit in a restuarant at a booth and not have my stomach touching or, even hanging over the table.
  3. i have had a little bread, and seem to be fine. I just made sure that I chewed it well enough. I can't seem to give up a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, def a weakness of mine. I just make a half a one now.
  4. I don't know why my dr. already had me get a fill. But he wanted me in at about 3 weeks to get it done. I went today and he said that I should not need a filll now though for at least 2 months. I thought it was weird too, cause it seems like I am the only one that has had a fill this early. Surgery jan. 17, 2009 1st fill. Feb. 5, 2009

  9. I got banded jan. 19 of this year by Dr. Milton Owens in Rancho Cucamonga
  10. i am having trouble quiting too. I was going to give it up for new years because i knew that I was getting banded. Now that I am banded, I knew that I needed to quit. it is hard for me, but I know that it is something that needs to be done. I only have 2 days not smoking. Hang in there. We can do it together
  11. I must confess that I couldn't handle only drinking fluids after the first week. I kind ate a little bit of mashed potatoes, and even some chicken. And now I am wondering if I could have hurt my stomach. I didn't feel sick after I ate, but I am still not sure, did anyone else sneak some solids in before recommended?? Am I alone on this?
  12. I was banded on jan. 17, of this year, and I stopped loosing weight 1 week ago, I was getting really discouraged and started thinking that there was something wrong. Thanks to your question and all the people that answered I don't feel like I am alone and that this was just going to be another failed attempt at weight loss. Thank you.
