Pam, I hope you feel better. You guys are so funny we are back to this LB vs.RNY. There are many people who have had great success with RNY likewise LB, the problem is common sense eating and sometimes emotional and mental issues that some people neglect to adress. Have we asked ourselves why the heck we eat so doggon much???? Even after we all get banded and RNY we have to adress these issues and this is wher I see the next level of our conversation maybe. There's more to food issues than food. I hope this is a dailogue that we can begin once we are all comfortable with where we arein our weightloss lives. Candra we're thinking of you!!!! Cheers!

Hi Desperate, welcome to our group. We rock here! We have a great team of supporters and we are here to help anyway we can. You will be fne. I went in knowing that the LB is what I wanted , however over time during the preparation process I battled with my choice. After all my beautiful LB sisters on here got teir bands, I was SURE that LB was for me. I need to know that I have options... The thought of my body part being disconnectected and reconnected scares the hell out of me LOL. Seriously just believe in what you want, starting the 1200 cal diet can be a challenge, but once you see the scale changing for the better it good all the way. The LB is a tool to help us get to a healthier bodies, so we still have to work at losing the weight we can't depend solely on the band to do the trick.:-)). Liz is cool by the when she finds out that you are committed to the program. I enjoyed my visit with her. Keep visiting with us and I guarantee that you will do well so long as you committ yourself. I wish you well. Candy-- WOW what an ordeal, I'm glad that you got this figured out and are on your way YIPPEEE!! Nicole, we'll keep hubby in our prayers! Hi Riley, Chris, Sheena, momcof and Tina !!

Thanks Candy! We will be praying for you. I'm sure the anxiety will set in for e sooner than later, however I'm confident that I will be fine and so will you. Nicole is the less feeling of being full that bad? I wonder why they wait so long to give the fill, when they know that it may affect some people and their progress? That sucks!! lol. Well I suggest you do "see food" look with your eyes and walk the other way because remember why you got the band in the first place LOL. Best wishes.

Thanks for the advice Rosey. Yes I will work on the fluids, I can only imagine that I may not be able to take in 64oz of water daily for a while scares me. I currently drink more than 100oz. I'm sooo ready for this.

Chris this is part of the process I suppose, however don't let it get to you down. It is only temporary and you'll be back to your own self again. your body is going through a metamorphic phase and to know that in a few months you will look back when you are skinny and feeling good and healthy again that this was all worth is a good feeling. Hang in there girl and kick those blues!

Yes Chris I know what you mean about starving. I don;t know what I'm going to do for the two days that I will be going there for the classes and meeting with Dr.Park and Thomas. I guess I will be eating a horse afterwards LOL. Riley you asked if I was nervous, no I'm not yet, I think seeing you all go through has given me tremendous strength and the transparency that we have on this site is impeccable.I really appreciate you all for it!

Thanks Tina! Yes this pretty fast. I was surprised when she said 5/19, i just knew she was going to give me a June appointment, well I am totally thrilled that I only have 3 weeks. I think the fact that you may not be moving around has something to do with the fluctuation, I trust it will start coming off soon.

Christine you are so funny and sweet. Thanks for your concern and thoughts. The meeting went well, Liz was cool as heck! she was so proud of me she actually gave me a surgery date for 5/19. I am super excited. Yesterday after I left the appointment men I was starving so I did the most foolish thing and got in/out Burger, boy it was so nasty to me, afterall i haven't had it for a long time, needless to say it was not worth it!!!LOL. I only have three weeks so I can't really fool around but I plan on eating Chinese food for the last time next week. I hope everyone is doing great! How are the numbers on the scale??? Keep me posted.

Hey ladies, it's good to see that everyone is doing well. Tina I'm sorry to hear that you have pus comming fro the port. I'm sure it will be tken care of. So I felt discouraged today when I found out that Sarah, Lz's scheduler was out until next week again. So I took it upo myself to email Dr Park and told her that I have reached goal and looking forward to the next phase. She responded with an appointment for me to see Liz on monday 4/27. So I need all you expertise and what I should be prepared for. I'm reallyexcited about this. Any advice will be welcome.
