Hi there, I've resolved this issue for you. There is a bit of a bug with special characters in the inline notifications, which is why it "seems" intermittent and doesn't happy to everyone. We hope to have this resolved permanently in the near future :-) Thanks!

To those of you attempting to make a new topic, when you're in a Forum or Category that accepts new topics, you should see a menu identifier at the top right in the form of 3 dots. If you click on that, you're able to post a new topic within the category you're currently viewing. To reply to any topic that you're currently viewing, you'll have a bar at the bottom of the screen (it's always there, as long as you're logged in and viewing a topic you're allowed to post to) that says "Write a Reply". Clicking there will popup your keyboard and allow you to reply. Both of the above require that you're logged into the app. Those of you who are logged into the app and are still having issues, please message me as we'll have to dig a bit deeper and may require additional information. @@summerset Okay, so you're referring to the Weight Lost? Or can you screen shot where you're currently seeing "lbs" instead of "kgs"?

@@summerset was that prior to changing your settings to Private? The only weight shown on your profile at the moment is the Weight Lost (which is normal for when your settings are Private) - though that does indeed show as lbs, which is indeed an error and we'll look into it. I just want to make sure we're on the same page so that we can get all of it resolved :-)

@@summerset Your starting weight, current weight, etc. are not showing because you've chosen to "Keep my weight private". If you would like those weights to show (including Starting Weight), you'll need to uncheck that setting.

@@becomingmandikaye Hi there! Are you running the latest version of the BariatricPal app? If viewing the Notifications tab (if available) and the Messages tab doesn't clear the notifications you may want to try deleting and reinstalling the app to see if that resolves the issue.

I pressed return only once then twice three times..

When you click "Open" for the app, does it start by showing a full-screen BariatricPal splash image? Or does it not even get that far? If you could grab your phones IP Address for me (http://www.whatismyip.com from your phones browser) and private message it to me, that would be great and will assist me in either resolving or narrowing down the issue. @@Roalmc77 I've confirmed that the BariatricPal App for Android is currently functioning and online. Are you able to access the website from a browser on the same Android device that's giving you an error with the app?

@@Roalmc77 the app should be functioning normally at this time, and is working on my iOS devices fine. I'm charging up an Android device to test within the next few minutes as well. Do other online apps currently work on your android device?

@@JustWatchMe Hi there! You can sub/unsubscribe to a topic by using the star that's next to the topic/view count. It will appear as yellow when you're following the topic, and white when you're not. (see attached) Hopefully that helps! Thanks!
