  1. Yep, that's what I thought, too.
  2. Damnit, Derick! You're going to make me choke over here! :paranoid
  3. Yes, but I'm sure you wouldn't give a person the opportunity to hurt you again, if they hurt you once. There's only so much trust and leeway that I'm willing to give people online. I figure, if they act a certain way towards me at one time, they are very likely to do it again. I generally don't give them a second chance to do that. Sure, I'll make nice, unless they are someone I completely detest (like Sandy), but they generally aren't close friends of mine, anyway, so there isn't any harm done if I don't trust them as far as I can throw them.
  4. Go translate on Babelfish. You'll love it.
  5. Oh my god! I just snorted chili. Damn you, Derick! :Banane30:
  6. And honestly, Chelle, your posts on OH not only hurt at the time, they offended. Again, I know you didn't mean them to. But it felt like none of the people looking on were taking it seriously. Here we were, getting attacked personally by people from every direction, and someone's over there getting a laugh out of it. Can you understand how that felt?
  7. And to be honest, I don't let it hold me back. I just remember it. I mean, you wouldn't forget that a particular dog bit you, would you? I mean, you might still love the dog and pet it every day, but you don't look at it the same way anymore. You don't give it the chance to bite you again.
  8. Oh, I do, too. I just don't see any good in Sandy, pretty sure there isn't any to find, either.
  9. Hey, you asked why I lumped you in with her friends, and that was why. I'm all for sarcasm, but it is very easily misunderstood in tense situations. Honestly, everyone at that point was so tense, especially the people getting attacked, that your funny pictures and sarcasm felt like more of an attack, because they felt aimed at them, not the people doing the attacking. I'm sure you meant well and didn't mean it the way it felt, but it wasn't the best time for it.
  10. At least she apologized to you. I never got an apology from her. And if you couldn't tell by that statement, yes, I do hold grudges. I may not mention my grudge to someone's face, but I never forget what they did.
  11. No offense, but I despise that reasoning. It reeks of cowardice, to me.
  12. Yes'm. :nervous
  13. Honestly, because on OH, you were always chiming in on the threads where Sandy's followers were gathering. Now, from what you've said recently, I'm sure you probably meant your posts to be funny and to relieve tension, but in times like that, people don't have a heck of a lot of humor. Plus, you've said yourself that you never saw fit to warn anyone about Sandy, even though you knew what she was doing. That, honestly, was enough for me to say that you were either her friend or her supporter, and it didn't matter which.
  14. Yep, we enjoy bitching about her. It relieves tension. And to be REALLY honest, most of the time, it's either WASa or myself that makes the first comment, not Wendell. Hell, I've got a thread that I started from either last year or very early this year, bitching about her, and I'm not sure Wendell ever chimed in on that one. So it really isn't Wendell making the first move on that. I made up my mind about Sandy LONG before the stuff between her and Wendell ever got started, or at least before it blew up.
  15. Nope, all free!
  16. Ever seen Bad Boys II? It's from that, supposedly a relaxation technique.
  17. Sorry, I was being bitchy last night. Too little sleep and too much stress makes my mouth run.
  18. Don't worry about it, we all get confused. Hell, sometimes I confuse myself. For example, the earlier discussion over God and god.
  19. Oh! That PM/email! Okay, now I'm with you. For some reason, I was thinking there was another PM that got revealed on OH.
  20. I missed it. Was there a thread at OH recently or was a while ago?
  21. Well, I guess it's just semantics. Faith, to me, is completely unsupported by fact or evidence. Belief, on the other hand, can be supported, in certain circumstance, depending on what the belief is. For example, I don't have faith in science, but I do believe in it. Religious people have both faith and belief, but neither can be supported by actual fact or evidence.
  22. I would, but I don't have an account anymore. I read just often enough to get pissed and storm off.
  23. Nah. Their recent movies with female leads had disappointing box-office returns.

Bring out the down comforter! It's freakin' cold! :Banane30:
  25. See I'm a scientist. I don't have "faith" in science. I know science works. I have evidence. I don't need faith.
