What Happened & What did I Miss..??
Yep, I'm back! Finally got back to Kentucky tonight. I am so freakin' glad to see my computer! I swear I was going through withdrawal! I have to say, though, that the longer I was away, the more tempted I was to not come back. Once I got through the "must go to LBT" phase, I was amazed by how much less stress I was under. Honestly? The only thing that made me come back is that I have a bunch of amazing friends here now. I'm just trying to convince myself that all the crap will pass, just like it's done in the past. I'm just getting so sick of it.

..people changing..based on 1/2 other's opinions, it isn't right!!!
Not necessarily. There are easy ways to mask your IP, if you know enough about it.

Walls of Text
Ditto. I've just gotten to the point where if a post is a pain to read, I skip it entirely.

Compulsive habits?
Yes! I never thought of it as hyperfocusing, but that's exactly what I do, with a lot of different things. If a frame on a wall is slightly (we're talking just a fraction of an inch, here), I can't stop focusing on it until I get up to level it. Same way with curtains - they have to be perfectly level. I never could understand how my roommate could stand having her finger nails all different lengths. Mine have to be perfectly even, or I'll cut them until they are even. Absolutely stupid stuff will drive me batty. Rythyms and evenness, whether something looks symmetrical or not. Hell, I get frustrated when I'm trying to rearrange a room, because decorations HAVE to be symmetrical. For example, if I put anything on a mantel, the pattern of the way I arrange everything has to be symmetrical. If it isn't, I'll rearrange it until it is. If I don't rearrange it, I can't stop focusing on it.

My parents tried that with me. It didn't work. I bit them anyway, because once you chew on them long enough, the stuff comes off anyway.

I hate it when people post just to post.....
Maybe you can make it a threesome? Or at least ask Santa to bring your hubby a stripper of his own.

Shopping????
Ditto. All the fat-lady clothes are for old people. Well, either that, or for tall people. AND I AM NEITHER.

US Sanctioned Torture
I prefer to think of the United States as morally superior to our enemy, in regards to how we treat our prisoners. I can't do that if we publically condone torture. To me, torture is torture, no matter if it's psychological torture or physical torture, whether it results in death or not.

So what are you, Conservative or Liberal ?
I'm about as liberal as liberal can get.

OMFG.. Race Card
Ooh, I'm pissed FOR you. I would fire back an email, since it's obvious they aren't going to be your customers any longer, anyway. Detail every thing that you guys did that went above and beyond and detail every thing that they failed to do.

Compulsive habits?
I have, and I love it! I've been wanting to try the mint, too, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Compulsive habits?
Dude, my notes used to be covered in stars. Or, I'd fill in little boxes on the margins, so my papers would eventually be black on on the sides. I can't wear lipstick at all. I eat it off in just a few minutes, so I'd be constantly reapplying. I can wear Carmex and stuff like that, though, it's just anything with color that bugs me.

Compulsive habits?
Yep, I do the ear-picking and mouth-biting, too. I always wondered if I had SAD, 'cause I sure had a lot of the symptoms of it. I'm better now than I used to be, but I would SERIOUSLY freak out in certain situations. I had to drop a class once because I couldn't deal with the fact that the instructor wanted us to do group discussions IN EVERY CLASS. I was literally close to tears during the first class period and I dropped it that night. Heh, I used to tap my fingers compulsively. I also can't wear jewelry because I tend to play with it constantly.

Compulsive habits?
Does anyone else out there have compulsive habits? I have (or had) several. When I had long hair, I would compulsively brush it. I HAD to carry a brush with me, and I always brushed my hair before getting out of my car or leaving a restroom. If I didn't, I was EXTREMELY self-conscious of it. I also have bad skin. I compulsively pick at it, to the point where my folks and brother used to slap my hands or tell me to stop picking. Seriously, I've made myself bleed many times. If I get scratches or sores anywhere, I have to pick at the healing scabs until they open up. I also used to be a nail-biter. My fingers are all scarred because I'd chew at the skin around my nails until it bled.

Mmm, food. I'm trying to think of dishes to make at my brother's house while we're there over Christmas. I'll probably do my semi-homemade lasagna, maybe some chili (depending on how cold it gets - they're in Memphis). I'd like to try hummus. I've never had it before.

Ha! That's great!
Honestly, your guess is as good as mine. I'm always thinking, "What the FUCK? How the hell did you get accepted to college?" LMAO at your sister!

Shopping????
I hate clothes shopping because of the weight, but that's not why I hate shopping in general. Don't get me wrong, I love going to the mall during the rest of the year, but not at Christmas-time. Ugh. I hate the crowds, the parking problems, the lines, the rude people. It literally gives me chills down my spine to think about going to the mall right now. ESPECIALLY on a weekend. I went to eat lunch with a friend at Olive Garden, and the restaurant was in a mall parking lot. Took me an HOUR to drive a mile and find parking. Horrible. It's just so much less stressful for me to do my holiday shopping online. I can generally find better selections of stuff and find stuff faster.
