hey! Well, I got my surgery in Mexico, it was way too expensive to do it here and I dont even know if they would do it anyway. I dont look huge, but I am heavy for my height! I went through a divorce this yr so I really needed something to make me feel good about myself. After many attempts to lose weight and gaining it so quickly, I decided that this would be the best preventive measure for me. I havent been small in years, I cant wait!

By the way, these past two days I've been eating a lot, or what seems a lot to me now, since I am on vacation and bumming at home all day and I lost 2 lbs! So I think I'm gonna hold off on the fill and use a little will power. Let me know how you are doing!

26 lbs down as of today Feb. 19th 2009!

Actually when Christmas came around my stomach was pretty much normal (before my first fill) so I ate too much! I ate a little here and a little there and it held me back from losing. Now, after my fill, I can totally tell the difference, I still get hungry but when I eat, I eat a lot less.

ah I'm so tight I can barely eat! And my weight loss is still slow!

ahh i am so frustrated, since I've been working out everyday, I am loosing weight a lot slower, sometimes 1lb a week sometimes none! It's frustrating, just want the # to go down!

Haha thanks for the super nice comment! Well, today is day 12 and I can consume more food than before so that's kindda a bummer. I've lost 10 lbs so far, still feel bloated though. Cant wait for it to just melt off! What r u up to this weekend?

Hey girl, No regrets, best thing I've done for myself! Only pain in the butt, is having to go to mexico, Matamoros Taumalipas for adjustments. This is something very important to consider... since you will visit the doc about every other month. I paid about 9000 so i saved a lot of money. Also, I wouldnt of qualified to get it done in the US anyway, I wasnt obese to begin with. However, I've lost 45 lbs so far, Im a size 9/10 and wanna get down to about a 3. Slowly... but getting there! Good look, let me know if you have any specific questions. I love Monterrey, I have family there, but I felt confident with the doc in Mexico since he had done surgeries on many other people I know that live in Brownsville. Now that I think about it, the anesthesiologist and the main doc who assisted with surgery traveled from monterrey... so if you really are interested I can seek their info. Good luck!

Hey girl! I hope you had a good Christmas. I am on week 4, no fills yet... so I ate a little more than I should have. It was pretty interesting seeing other people eat. My sister who is a size 6 literally ate non-stop! I would of never realized it in the past, I would of probably eaten more than her before the band! What's been your success?

Hey! Well, I've noticed that every doc will give diff advice in regards to your first 6 weeks. Just be mentally ready to eat a lot less. Be prepared to eat slow and chew a lot. After a few weeks, you will be tempted... but dont give in! Buy xgas strips ;o).

I desperately need a fill! I've been needing one for a month now but my doc is is Austrailia, training! So March, I lost 6 lbs, but gained 3 by the end of the month, so this month, I am trying to be very disciplined and resist temptation! I wont see my doc till ate April, so gotta use some will power and strenght this month! However, I've gone from a size 18 to a size 11/12, feels pretty good so far. How are you doing?

I have to admit, I was too chicken to post pics in a bathing suit. To be honest, I couldnt even take pictures of myself in a bathing suit! So thumbs up to you for being so brave! I admire you and cant wait to see your wonderful transformation journey.
