Hi there I need some advice i got banded on Jan 28 and i'm lossing weight and i do feel restriction. The only problem is i have had to kinda attacks of muscle spasm in my stomach around were my incisions are and it gets to the point that nothing is comfortable i cant sleep sit or anything! I have taken a gravol in the pass and it has helped. I have just been back to work for 4 day so could that be the problem i went from not using those muscles to using them????I'm a support worker so i do alot of lifting??? Please any advice would help...by the way i'm at the mussy stage!

I'm just newly banded and i am at the stage where i only eat 1/4 at a time and i feel alot of restriction so i do not push it...but you have been very successful with your band right? Are you gaining or just not lossing?

Hey i had gas trapped for up to 5 days after the surgery and i felt exactly like you!!! I didn't know what was happening thought i had made the worst decision of my life... but i took crushed gravol and it made all my muscles and gas settle so that is what worked for me! Good Luck and glad to here there are others like me!!!

Wow congrats i 'm headed in for surgery on Jan 28 and i can wait to say that i'm down such a big number like that! Here is to your continued success!!

WOW you guys are freaking me out i'm about to get a band in Jan, and he told me about slip and erosion and my Doctor said if erosion happens 9 time out of 10 he will not replace it!

Hi there I'm going to be in Jan of 2009 too! I have not found out the date yet but i have an appointment with my doctor on Nov 25 and i think i will find out the day of surgery then!!!!YAYA!!! Cant wait !!! So i look forward to all of our success!!

There is a Dr.Katalinc in Quesnel that will do fills for lap band but i'm not sure if you need to be refered to him or not but his office is in the Quesnel hospital! Hope this helps!!:laugh:

Hi everyone! This is my first time posting...but this subject is something i'm having a hard time with"the secret thing"! I have told my sister and a couple very close friends but the two most important people i have to tell is my parents and i have not managed to get the guts to tell them yet!!! I will be having my surgery in Jan 2009 sometime no date set as yet... and i keep putting off telling them. My worst fear is they will think that i will fail with this and it will be a waste of money as they have thought every other diet i have been on has been!
