Hey girl, No regrets, best thing I've done for myself! Only pain in the butt, is having to go to mexico, Matamoros Taumalipas for adjustments. This is something very important to consider... since you will visit the doc about every other month. I paid about 9000 so i saved a lot of money. Also, I wouldnt of qualified to get it done in the US anyway, I wasnt obese to begin with. However, I've lost 45 lbs so far, Im a size 9/10 and wanna get down to about a 3. Slowly... but getting there! Good look, let me know if you have any specific questions. I love Monterrey, I have family there, but I felt confident with the doc in Mexico since he had done surgeries on many other people I know that live in Brownsville. Now that I think about it, the anesthesiologist and the main doc who assisted with surgery traveled from monterrey... so if you really are interested I can seek their info. Good luck!

I've been stuck @ 30 for a while now! I finally got a fill and boy does it feel good! Back to soups!!!! Cant wait to lose another 30+!

I desperately need a fill! I've been needing one for a month now but my doc is is Austrailia, training! So March, I lost 6 lbs, but gained 3 by the end of the month, so this month, I am trying to be very disciplined and resist temptation! I wont see my doc till ate April, so gotta use some will power and strenght this month! However, I've gone from a size 18 to a size 11/12, feels pretty good so far. How are you doing?

ahh i am so frustrated, since I've been working out everyday, I am loosing weight a lot slower, sometimes 1lb a week sometimes none! It's frustrating, just want the # to go down!

i paid 8500, fills are free but I have to travel there. he put 1 cc first fill, 3 weeks later (yesterday) i went back and he put 1 1/2 more

Yes we are pretty close! I had surgery in Mexico, so it's pretty cool because they do things differently than here (they are so strict here!) For instance, I've had my 2nd fill already.

B-day was pretty intense! You are gonna LOVE the band!

Update: 8 weeks post- op 18 lbs lost so far (gained 2 this week) so I went for 2nd fill. Total of 2 1/2 cc in band. Dont feel restriction, but feel pretty satisfied with 1/2 a cup of noodle soup.
