  2. Hey all I'm looking for Dr. Fromm patients I'm curious how he is as far as surgery and everything, I'm met him and everything but thats it. He is partnered up with Dr. Ponce so you have at least seen hime or hear something about him.
  3. Its just talking I met with him basicly you bring all your info to the office then the nurse takes you back to weigh you and see how tall you are when your weighed all you have to take off is your socks and shoes, then you go back to a room were you will talk to one of doctor ponce's nurse practicionars about what your looking into, then Dr. ponce comes in and talks to you about pretty much the same thing// then you'll watch a 30 min. video and talk to the lady from insurance and your done lol did I answer you correctly?
  4. Hey everyone I'm Chris 23 I'm from TN and I'm going to be having my surgery performed by Dr. Fromm, anyone heard of him? He is with Dr. Ponce and Paynter. But anyhow I was just wondering what the recomended amount of food for each meal is.. what I'm saying is that I would like to show my wife what my plate would look like after I've had the band and I've heard many many different suggestions lol so I guess what I'm asking is if there is a standard that they want you to hold up to>?
  5. So did you have bcbs of new jersey? If so I mean did you have to do any pre surgery diet I've heard some horror stories about blue cross in general about having to do a doctor supervised diet first I just wanta be sure and this anticipation is driving me nuts lol.
  6. They say the cover it 100 percent if they aprove you so I was wondering if anyone got it approved through them?
  7. Thank you very much susan
  8. guess I can't spell today!
  9. :notagree Hey everyone I'm from Rhea County TN and I'm going to be banded by Dr. Fromm who is partners with Dr. Ponce and Dr. Paynter. Has anyone hear of hime of had the band put in by him?
  10. goodluck to all I feel the same way, I've been waiting for at least 3 months to hear something good from insurance and I"m just a month away, hopefully all goes well with the rest of u, I know some have been waiting much longer than others
  11. Hey everyone I'm at 360 rite now and my height is 5'6 I'm still in pre op but hope to have my surgery in a month. My goal is to lose at least 160 lbs.
  12. yea I sure hope so all this waiting gives me to much time to think and when I think on something to long especially this surgery it scares me to death and in some cases I back out!! But I don't think I will this time I've reached an all time high of 360 and I want to at least be around 200 and in my opinion I cant do it alone.
  13. O it went great I mean it took a while but I enjoyed talking to everyone who came in for adjustments, about how things were going with their band. Well all they make you do is weigh no socks or shoes! Pain in the butt lol. They get your height then you talk with the Dr. briefly and he will determine if your a candidate, then you'll watch a 30 min. video// speak with the lady about insurance and then your just setting and waiting to see what insurance is going to do, or what else they are going to have you do..
  14. Dreikalina I've been to DR. Ponce and he is a great Dr. in my mind, he has alot of recomendations and has done the band many times he's awsome. I had my first consultation with him and was sad to find out he wasn't in my network but one of his partners Dr. Fromm is going to do mine and he is also a great Dr.
  15. Hey everyone I'm new also to the system here, and I've been pre op for about 3 months now having had my seminar then consulation twice two different doctors one in my network and one out of my network then after another a months wait on insurance I was told I needed to have a phycological eval so now hopefully 4 more weeks to approval!
