  2. Thank you for the detailed explanation. It’s interesting how different the US healthcare system is. I was just curious.
  3. Thanks for your story. It was very interesting to read. If you don’t mind me asking what it is the Tier system you’re referring to? I’m in the states so it went over my head. I’m going through Veteran Affairs Health System and not insurance. I’m glad your expectations have been meet and will continue to be.
  4. Hello, I’m new here and hoping to get some insight. On September 02 2025 I had my psych evaluation. She asked me my goal weight (220) then said I need to go over it with my doctor because sleeve to bypass revisions don’t have big weight loss. Right now I’m 5’6 and weight 276. My psychologist floored me and I’ve been numb ever since. I never heard of this before. Now I wonder why my surgeon or PA (physician assistant) didn’t tell me. Can someone please let me know if they were told the same or beat the statistics?
  5. Hi I’m new to this site. I saw your question and decided to make this my first post since I’ve took Topiramate. Years ago I was prescribed it off label for migraines. The sides effects were extreme sleepiness, I got angry easily and my memory went out the window. There used to be boards about Topiramate asking for its banning. It was called stupidmate. Ask your doctor about the sides effects and also google it. Maybe you can find the old forums on it. However it did cause weight loss. Unfortunately the price was too high. I couldn’t even work because of foggy mind and losing train of thought and word recall. After three months of waiting for side effects to ease I came off Topiramate.
