  1. @AmberFL thanks for this it's very helpful! Girl I'm over her cussing saying ๐Ÿคฌto myself that I am not getting no other work done ๐Ÿคฃ. I think I mean it to. He done a phenomenal job with the auxiliary fat removal and my breast, but I'm like over it! We shall see what goes on in the weeks to come.
  2. I think I'm going through what they call postop blues or postop depression. This is week three and my left side, which was my smaller boob and smaller side is perfectly fine but the right side where he had to manipulate it more and do my under arm fat is giving me hell. Well, I guess one good thing is I'm not turning to food. In fact I really don't feel like eating and it's really bumming me out. I think because I can't really work out and do the things that I normally do around the house, I think that's what it really is. It's annoying the **** out of me to be honest. And I really also hadn't had any surgeries in my life that requires a lot of downtime so this is new for me as well. With my bariatric sleeve hell I was up walking in the very next day. I think I walked like 3 miles and I walked pretty much every day ever since then and that was a year and a half ago so yeah.

@ItsMe83! drinking liquids the way I want to is something I still grieve I still mourn being able to guzzle down all the liquids. Now my life consist of eating and setting 30 minute timers to drink, and then not even really enjoying the drink as before. ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ. So yes you are winning lol
  4. So I've noticed a lot of things about Colombia that I want to document since I've been here and I'm still here recuperating. I am at a higher altitude very mountainous region and I've noticed that my pouch feels better here. I do not get that some days restrictive some days non-restrictive feeling. I have not experienced any of the bloating/acid reflux and discomfort. I'm southern so I'm big on seasoning. I've noticed that they focus more on high-quality foods with less emphasis on seasoning. Their bananas are not as sweet. Their food is not as salty and sweet as our food and I think it plays a big difference in diet and a lot of things I will take away from here and try to apply back home. So via research it's stating that their food is less inflammatory and more natural than ours and it makes a lot of sense. A lot of their food are locally grown. Makes a huge difference! The U.S really does us a disservice by how food is mass grown and GMO produced.

    Food Before and After Photos

While in Medillin Colombia, I will eat like a Colombian.... today's meal is Mandango soup (it would be ian acquired taste you would have to like beef tripe. I was raised off of that type of food), plantains, beans, and such โค๏ธ๐Ÿ˜ฉ ๐Ÿคค yum

I don't know if this is a win, but there is a podcast called "isnt the stall the point" ... to me at some point weight stalls should be the point. I've noticed in the bariatric community that some are never satisfied and steady strive for more. I certainly won't be living my life like that. So my win is I stalled for six months, which I was fine with but at my breast augmentation appointment my weight had finally broke the STALL. I am finally 7 pounds from my goal weight in which the STALL and living my Life in Maintenance will be the point. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ
  8. Look at you @NeonRaven8919 very hot proud of you!
  9. Girl you look goood as hell! Congratulations on your weight-loss journey and yes girl I'm having fun in the clothes I've always wanted to wear but living in obese body all my life I couldn't so it is definitely a time to play around.
  10. Girl thanks!! Mine looking pretty rectangular too ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚. Now I'm just laying down relaxing. I have to give an update in a few few months once they settle in the correct position. oh and the sensation in the nipples I did not lose those. I went in for some breast massages today and oh my gosh I was like yes I feel you squeezing on my nipple so I'm glad that the sensation was not lost. ๐Ÿ˜‚
  11. So ladiesssssss surgery went well without complication. I have very minimal pain. The only pain that I feel is from the auxiliary fat removal the under arm fat that's really the only pain that I feel and even that pain is minimal. My breast although they're sitting up in my neck right now ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚, they look to be very perfect for my body frame. He done very well. They will settle in a few months. He has a good eye. He done well. I will say I'm very impressed by the whole process the doctors are great, they are very technology forward here. The doctors and nurses are very smart, attentive. and precise. Medellรญn Colombia as a city is very beautiful their malls I love their mall. They have more stores more quality clothing than the mall that I've been to in the US. I'm really impressed. In all ALL is WELL!
  12. sooooooooo I'm here and I done a thing I made it up all these damn steps at 313 pounds I could never even attempt to climb this! That's a MAJOR win. (View from the top is the third pic).

@NeonRaven8919 I love that for you you will definitely be able to fit in that dress soon enough show us some pictures once it does! @Dub your winning. @NeonRaven8919As far as the scale goes, I'm a year and two months postop. I've never owned a scale. I still don't own a scale. It's not good for my poor mental health and as a woman we have too many hormonal changes, bloating, cycles, menopause, perimenopause, water retention it's just not a good indicator of your progress. Your metabolic wellness is your best indicator of the progress that you're making.

@ms.sss I love that! That's awesome... yeah In other groups I'm part of people talk about not wanting to be identified as this WLS "patient" they feel that they have always been someone else ..that is not their whole being so I love that you go chick! This f**king journey is hard as hell I commend anybody who gets through this journey successfully so if you can get through this journey. You can Get through anything that includes tackling regain if you have regain or you can do anything your mind sets out to do it's hard it requires that much discipline so if you can be disciplined in this, you could be disciplined in anything.
