I saw a pretty reasonable food scale at the store around $12 does anyone use one and is it accurate or are measuring cups more so?

still on the liquid phase and from day one ( I think from the anestestia) my taste is off and everything I once loved I think taste gross even coffee omg! LOL I've tried every drink known to man without bubbles but everything is blah. I just want seltzer ( and popcorn I have never seen so much popcorn on tv in my life and it's not even my fav LOL ) but enough rambling today I found orange peach mango juice yummm finally! Any other creative drinks liquids please please please believe me I've tried everything ! I hope some one in my house is thirsty cuz I have dozens of bottles powders broths with a sip taken out haha I love this site!

got my band 10/21 (yeah!) they said the bandages would fall off in 3-4 days but mine r stuck on there good and the nurse I'm supposed to call with questions is off and I don't wana bother the surgeon again for silly stuff . Any ideas?

my Nutrionist suggested the stage one baby foods I plan on doing that while at work much easier , hopefully it tastes ok lol

I got banded oct 21 and today I feel a little barfy I'm on clear liquids but u think if I sucked on one saltine I'd be ok?

I got mine oct 21 and yesterday I was in alot of pain, this morning I felt great then got a high fever in the afternoon . The dr says if it does not break by morning head to the er . So watch your hot feelings cuz that's what I started out as. Feel better all and good luck!

Tomorrow i get my Realize band!!!! i am so excited but just a tad nervous because i never had any surgery but ill be ok =) Any last minute tips or must haves when i get home ? Thank You!! I think alot of us understand the desperation here. I have never been so anxious and nervous for somthing in my entire life...trust me its hard as hell to wait and wait and wait more for phone calls, letters... then to feel like an idiot cuz you keep calling the drs office so much. Im exhausted from all the work i have had to do to finally get approved and i still feel uneasy like somone is gonna take back their approval. But in the end of all of this for both of us its soooo gonna be worth it! Good luck and stay stong!

I got approved today and they moved my surgery date up a day to the oct 21 I'm so happy I'm crying! Any suggestions for my last days band free? Ps God if u surf the Internet thank you for this chance!

Hi everyone! I have done everything totally right with all the doctors and everything and i have a surgery date of oct 22 but i have not been approved yet by insurance im waiting for my answer. Would the drs office book the surgery if they thought insurance would say no? I feel like i should pretent im not having surgery because im not totally sure the insurance will say yes. I am beyond stressed and so nervous i just want to hear a yes!! Words of encouragement please! Thank you!

can you still have the lapband surgery if you are on your period or spotting?

i heard from someone who was banded like 6 years ago that if she eats and then goes to sleep she wakes up with like acid reflux fluid in her nose and she thinks her sinuses got ruined....weird right

Hi everyone! I am hoping and praying i get the lapband. I have been to every doctor on the planet already and i am just waiting for the dr consultation so i can summit to insurance (qualcare) and set a surgery date. Any helpful words are wellcome because i am sooo nervous and excited and dont want to wait any longer!
