Ok started liquid diet 2 days ago. Im STARVING!! I never realized this before but I really think I may be a food addict. Now I can honestly say yes I am a food addict. Im trying to find other ways to deal with boredom, depression, and anger now that I can't just go eat. Blogging seems to help. Im so hungry it's hard to think. I took my measurements and weight for the before and after. Wow when did I get so big? My bust 43', w 41, h 53, arms 15" and thighs 29" the size of a normal persons waist. I just have to remember this is suppose to be the hardest part. My new mantra "I can do this":welldoneclap:

My doctor also puts us on an exercise regimen. I can't wait to see the pounds melt away. I also was raised on southern cooking. :drool:Creamed peas yum!! And everything fried!! 16. Ok I have not had the lap band on yet will be banded on Oct.21. I've looked everywhere and can't find anything on when food gets stuck. What happens how do you deal with it, does it hurt? If anyone has any answers or info on stuff getting stuck I would love to here. Im very worried about that. I was reading people get biscuits and stuff stuck in there stomach after lapband. Will I never be able to eat a biscuit or bread again.

Ok I just got a book "Weight loss surgery for dummies" and it makes me nervous how you change so many things about your life. I just keep thinking if I could change all those things I wouldn't need the surgery but, I know this is a tool to help me with the change. I think Im just getting nervous because it is getting closer to my surgery date. Besides there are a lot of good changes also. The biggest one is being healthy for a change. My kids are young and I have 2 grandkids and I want to be able to play with them! I CAN DO THIS!!!

  20. I went to Barnes & Nobel and they only had the one book. It has all types of weight loss surgery in it, but mainly gastric and lap band. I wish they had a better selection.
  21. I just got the book "weight loss surgery for dummies" , lots of info.. It has says to take pic. and measurements before surg. and then start to journel and write down the things you think you will be able to do when you start losing the weight and that will be a great goal starter. I thought it was a great idea. It also has sample menu's for liquid diet then soft foods. It has been answering a lot of my questions. It also gives a lot of other web sites to check out. Good luck to all those who are on their liquids.!
  22. Thanks maybe we can keep in touch. Where are you getting your surg? Do you have to do a 2 week liquid diet? Im nervous about that. Good luck to you too.

  24. I am going to be banded on Oct. 21st. Scared...excited...and all that good stuff. It's to long away, I hate waiting.....
