Amen!!!! Been on the 2 week pre-op diet one week today. Down 100lbs from last month….daddy said why can’t you just keep doing that???? Cause I’ll go up and down and up and down. 262 was my highest and I’m over it and ready for the rest of my journey ❤️

I take metoprolol and I will crush it. Hopefully after some weight loss I can ditch it and the lisinopril and both diuretics.

Hello everyone! My name is Janet and I am new here. Just started my 2 week prepping diet this am. Surgery is on the 14th of June in Mexico and I’m having the sleeve done. Any important information y’all have gleaned from your own experience to pass on Would be helpful. CW 254 GW 140-150. I’m 5’7

I’m sorry it has been rescheduled. I guess that’s another reason to go to Mexico. I am an RN and work for a major hospital group…in home health. If I worked for the hospital, they would cover 100%. Since I do home health….they have no bariatric rider so I have to pay cash. I never thought that I would get this far with it. I realize I’ve been on my high protein low carb diet just 24 hours, but not once did I stop and get a Pepsi or food. I took PB and celery, ate tuna and yogurt throughout the day. The hardest part will be spaghetti and potatoes. I love my pasta but that’s what has me at 254 pounds. We can all do this. Best of luck to you and keep me updated!
