My bypass + hh repair was early in the morning. Pain level after surgery 0 but NOW 8:39pm I have level pain 6. My liquid diet start in stage 2. Protein Shake, broth, sugar free popsicle, apple juice and Water. Probably come home tomorrow. No nausea, no vomit at this moment. But you need walk, walk and walk. I was under a major anesthesia cloud for a little over a week postop, including the blurry vision. It was difficult to keep my eyes open, even when I was not sleepy. After eight or nine days, the fog lifted, and my vision returned to baseline.

Dang, I am feeling a little blurry eyed! Nice to know it’s not just me!

I had it just after surgery but it went away by the next day.

My worst issue is I have Water nausea and can't stand to drink plain water without mix ins. I use to love water

Yes, was told it's due to the anesthesia, lack of Vitamins. I'm 3 weeks post op and I still see blurry, hopefully after I start my pureed diet and start vitamins, etc later this week, things will change. If you're way out of surgery I would contact doctor.

I am experiencing the same thing but was told it does happen after you body is trying to heal and adjust to a lack of calories and Fluid intake. It will get better I am confident

I’m in the hotel waiting for tomorrow. I live 2 hours away from the hospital and I’m going to do the first one for surgery tomorrow. Arrival time 5:15am Surgery time 7:15am. Nervous but ready for my gastric bypass. I’m in 24 hrs liquid diet I think is the worst part before surgery. So good luck everyone and see u guys in the other side!!!!! Update soon!

WOOHOO. Congrats! yea at my hospital they dont even let you lay down in the bed. I had to sit and sleep on a recliner and constantly had to go walking around the floor.
