Tomorrow Is The Day!

Tomorrow is the day for my VSG surgery! I’ll be staying overnight in the hospital. I haven’t had any surgeries that weren’t on an emergency basis so are there things i should expect? Any tips to get through the jitters? I’m excited to get to this point but just having those last minute jitters. I’ve kept busy today by cleaning the house and getting the couch set up with a sleeping wedge for when i get home and have stocked up on protein shakes, protein water and some yogurt and cottage cheese since my surgeon goes right to the puréed stage once I’m home.

Have you checked out the thread “weirdest non scale victories?” I always recommend it to people with last minute nerves or on the fence about surgery. Just helps remind you of all the little things that will start changing for you soon to add to your list of major reasons for doing the surgery.

How are the other May 16 wls peeps? I’m dressed and ready to get out of the hospital at 11am. Pulling on my sweatpants was no joke. The binder helps a lot.
