    Common Problem Foods

I must say I have tried all of these foods and I can eat them all except I choose to stay away from anything greasy or fried. It is all in the person.
  2. Hey

How are you doing? Last time I heard from you, you were sore. I hope all is well. Keep in touch

  3. Thank you for your comment. I work out a lot! I do 30 minutes of cardio on the treadmil a day which normally is around 3 miles a day. Then I do 50 min of circuit training with weights to tone up my muscles. As far as eating I will just tell you what I had for today

    B-light yogurt 6 oz

L-Whole grain pita with 1 tsp mustard turkey and tomato

    D- Grilled chicken, cabbage, strawberries

I do not eat any fried foods, mayo, or fatty dressings. and the only thing that I drink is water and skim milk for my protein.

I do still do my protein drinks. I have never been taken off of them. The doctor actually up my dose from 2 scoops to 3 scoops. How is your journey going? You are looking good! Keep up the good work!

  4. Hi I am sorry for responding to your question so late. With all the exersize it is hard to find time to get on here. But anyway losing 130 lbs is never easy but I dedicated one year of my life to exersize everyday and eat the right things. I won't eat mayo, fried foods, or fat dressings. I only drink water and skim milk. My surgeon told me that I would be lucky to lose 100 lbs. As of right now I have lost 147 so I guess I showed him. They call me their poster child which really makes me feel good. Believe in yourself and never give up and you will get what you want out of this whole process. Even if you just walk everyday it is better than sitting on the couch eating Dibs ice cream watching TV. Good luck to you! Keep me posted on your progress :)

    I feel nothing..confusing

Your band is your tool and it is up to you on what you do with it. If you eat foods that you are not suppsed to be eating then you will not lose much weight. If you eat the right foods and work out it will do amazing things. I hear of so many people that get banded and the next week they are eating at pizza buffets and lasagna and they wonder why they are not losing weight. Fight your temptations and thow away any bad foods that you may have in your house. If you feel like a snack grab a strawberry or a grape instead of chips or crackers. Eat chicken and fish instead of hamburger or steak. If you take the yolk out of your eggs you are saving 5 grams of fat! But the egg white has just as much protein! :mad2: You may want to get a fill if you feel that you are needing one. I am not the biggest expert on fills. I have only had one and I am 8 months post op. I hope this will help you fight your temptations! Hang in there. Best wishes to you!

Try to eat as healthy as possible and work out a lot. I eat a light fruit yogurt for breakfast. 4 strawberrys and 6 cheese cubes for lunch. Then I walk to the gym .5 miles and run 2 miles on the treadmil and walk back another .5 miles. I drink a lot of water!! Then I will do two scoops of protein in 16 oz of skim milk. When I go home from work I will usally eat a grilled chicken breast with some broccoli and maybe some long grain rice if I am really hungry. Then I will do 50 min of circuit training after my stomach has settled. I have lost 131 lbs in 8 months so it must work. Good luck to you I hope this information has helped you.
