Hi All I was banded 9/24/08. I am down 99 lbs and just recently decided with my doctor that it is time for a fill. When I went in to get my fill I found out that my port is upside down. First he went in with a needle and stabbed all around. That hurt! The next time he decided to try and fill me under an x-ray which is when he found out that the port is upside down. Does anyone know what causes this? Is it from too much ab work? Shouldn't the stitches hold it in place? I am going in for surgery
I have my cousins wedding to go to on Saturday. I just got banded 9/24/08 and I am not able to advance to stage three until October 8th. What should I do about eating? Should I hope that they will have some broth or should I bring my own? I think that would be a little tacky but if I have to I would.
