What to Do?

I have my cousins wedding to go to on Saturday. I just got banded 9/24/08 and I am not able to advance to stage three until October 8th. What should I do about eating? Should I hope that they will have some broth or should I bring my own? I think that would be a little tacky but if I have to I would.

Hey littlemissband! I was banded on the same day as you. Girl take it with you - dont take the chance - and if family knows you have been banded then they will understand.

Good luck!

I agree, take it with you. Always be prepared yourself, everyone will understand.

absolutely take whatever you need with you. Or you can eat before going to the wedding. Make sure you have protein before you go. Since I've been banded in june, i have no problem going places where there is a lot of food, I'm not hungry and have no desire for the food. Remember, you're at the wedding to celebrate your cousins wedding and socialize with other family members. The food should be a very insignificant part of the day. Good Luck

just make sure you eat before the wedding...maybe a protein shake if you are ready for those? and drink a lot of fluids at the wedding to make your hunger stay away longer. Trust me...throwing up at a wedding is not my idea of fun.
