Well I had my GS on April 6th. Surgery weight 118kg (260lbs) and post op 6 months I am 98kg (216lbs). I walk a lot, ride my bike, swim but my stalls are often and long. Still happy that I have lost weight but frusterated when I compare with all you guys. What could be the issue? Is there anyone else out there ?

Hello fellow Bariatricals, I am 3 months out and wanted to compare everyone else 3 month weight loss. I have only list 13kg which is 28 pounds. I am not worried, as I am losing and Ive always had a slow metabolism. How were you guys at 3 months post op ( please only give me weight loss from surgery day).

Hey Sleeve twin! My surgery was on the same day. I stalled at week 3 after vsg. We are just over 2 months out. My surgery weigh in was 118kg and now I am 106. Ive already had one stall and I am pretty sure i am now at my second stall.

Hi Bariatricpals, I have gathered thAt specialists have said 12-46 months. My specialist atrongly suggested 12 months but said that his patients have fallen prego earlier. How long did you wait to fall pregnant? How old were yo? Was it your first? Any difficulties?

Well, my periods came right on schedule. So far no change but i am only 2 weeks post op today.

Hi there, I had glue on my scars. I am 2 weeks post op. The incision under my breasts/ rib fell off today. Not naturally, but by my bra. Anything had anything similar? Am I in trouble?

Baratricpals, Just wanted to know 2 things 1) how much could you get down in one 20min sitting? I am getting through 150ml of yoghurt or soup. It take about an hr for 200ml protein shake. I also boiled one small potato and mashed it. Smashed it down (full) but had dumping after. I am 11 dpo 2) anyone who had leaks? Whats it like and when did it happen? Cheers

Hello Bariatropals, So, a week out of surgery and I am wondering what percentage of excess weight have you lost? By excess weight, I mean the extras kilos over your ideal heathy weight BMI. I was 128 kg/ 282 lbs pre op. (3 weeks prior to surgery) I was 118kg / 260 lbs, on surgery day (3 weeks after my initial consult) I am 114kg / 251lbs, 8 days post surgery. My ideal is 72kg/160lbs. I doubt I will get there because everything I read says 60% excess. Interested how you guys are going and if there is anyone with similiar stats. I am 170cm/5'7 tall.

Hi dear, I am one week post op today and have been on puree since yesterday. Babyfood is my go to. I also do low cal jelly and custard. I pureed tuna and mayo as well. Doc has no problems with it so I suppose we are different.
