I have gathered thAt specialists have said 12-46 months. My specialist atrongly suggested 12 months but said that his patients have fallen prego earlier.

How long did you wait to fall pregnant?
How old were yo?
Was it your first?
Any difficulties?

I cannot answer your questions personally, however I worked in a Fertility Clinic.

I've seen patients who would come in after WLS and seen patients where the doctor recommends WLS to help with fertility. Regardless of age, number of previous pregnancies, known difficulties, or treatment needed. The doctor would not start treatment with patients until they were 12 months post op.
