  1. I've been saying goodbye to my favorite foods, and some not so favorite. Been eating a ton of salads, I know I will miss them alot! I haven't been told about a pre-surgery diet other than nothing to eat or drink after midnight before the day of surgery. Wonder if I'm missing anything? Actually though, I'm cleaning out the kitchen and had planned to start getting used to the Protein shakes this coming week.
  2. Hi Debbie. I'm soon to be banded, and am encouraged. I plan not to weigh until the follow up visit. Post surgery is for healing, weight loss and maintenace is for the rest of my lifetime. Good luck, sounds like you are doing fine.
  3. I'm with ya! Received my approval letter yesterday and today was told the first available was the 3rd! I booked it. :crying:  Going to see the nut in the morning to learn about the 6 week post op food plan.
  4. July 3rd for me! 11:00 a.m.!
  5. Thanks everybody! I got my date this morning, JULY 3rd! I go in the morning to meet with Melissa the nutritionist and get my 6 week post op orders. Exciting! url=http://www.TickerFactory.com/weight-loss/wDwtSUQ/] [/url]
  6. The sooner the better! The letter gave us 90 days, hope hope hope I can get banded soon.:cursing: My new way of life is begging to begin. Actually, it already has!
  7. I received my approval letter from the insurance company today! After 6 months of talking about it, it looks like this is really going to happen! I look forward to meeting you, and sharing positive vibes and encouragment! Thanks, Joan D.
