  14. Thanks for sharing this! I much prefer getting a plain low fat greek yogurt to the pre-mixed fruit ones (although the "dessert" ones are such good sweet treats) and haven't branched out much for add-ins.
  15. The bean sprouts idea is excellent, thanks for that suggestion!
  16. I am Pre-Op so I cannot relate completely to this, but that awful yucky feeling is familiar to me when my vitamins were off in the past- things like Vitamin D, Iron, the B vitamins. It's SO frustrating when doctors don't seem to be giving your results full attention. Have you considered an endocrinologist? In addition to water I'd say make sure you're getting a large amount of protein because that seems to be the quickest "fix" to post-surgery feelings from my friends who have had surgery. I think it would be good to see a mental health specialist, too. You've had MASSIVE changes to your life and even though they are generally good, any life change is a stressor in a way. I hope you feel better soon.

  18. Hello! I'm in the pre-op stage looking at likely having gastric sleeve, no date set yet but just passed my psych eval and have met my pre-surgery loss goal. I'm wondering what kind of "unexpected," side effects folks have had? I know things like possible increase in acid reflux, and shortly after surgery having constipation, also that loose skin is likely. I've heard some folks have a change in their sense of taste but not much about that. What other unplanned adjustments or changes have happened to those of you who had surgery and how far out did they start/stop? Thanks!
