  1. Morning everyone I had my sleeve yesterday 10/13 and I’m currently in hospital. Gassy and nauseated are my main symptoms . Besides that my pain is not as bad just being managed. I have to walk around today. I couldn’t do it last night .

  5. That’s the hosp rules they said it’s hard to get oxygen read sigh. did your OR have crazy rules ? The list is so long . But I’m going to follow it to a T

  7. Hey there ! I have one week of pre op diet left too. My surgery is 10/13. I just had my call with the OR and it feels so real now ! There were so many instructions I wasn’t expecting. It was so thorough which I liked. when is your date

  9. Day 5 of my pre - op diet. I think it's smooth sailing from now, but i am a bit anxious. I work fulltime and also school
  10. I understand your fears . My original date was in feb 2020 but that’s my birthday month so I postponed it to May 2020 then Covid happened so all surgeries were cancelled and they moved it to July I panicked and they closed my case. I call them back and she scheduled me for October 2020 a lot is going on in my life. I work full time , am in school, family drama, my bf relocated across the country. It feels like a swarm but my friend told me .. there is never a perfect time. She said I deserve to focus on my health I told my job and school and am taking 2 weeks off . I don’t know what will happen with the other aspects of my life but this is one thing that can benefit me and add to my life. No more running away you got this I know a few people in grad school and med school who got it done while in school. They just took a leave for a week or two
  11. oh ok our meal programs are the same im bringing a long charger, portable charger, headphones, chapstick, blanket, socks, light clothes to change, maybe a book or magazine
  12. I feel you! Does your program allow meals at all? mine lets me eat 4 oz of lean protein and veggies for dinner, and an egg or turkey slice for a snack. What I do is 3 shakes, space out 120 oz of liquid throughout the day and then dinner. what are you bringing in your hosp bag?
