How's everything going for you!??! Did you have your surgery?

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you a little update. I went to see Dr. Vernon the other day. I really liked her! :smile:She was just like " Yup, ok." She said I'd have no problems w/ my insurance either So, I had all my blood work done that day. I'm just waiting for them to call me w/ my nutritional, phyc, & upper GI appts. :wink2: I'm getting really excited!! As, soon as I get those done she'll put it in to the insurance for approval. She said that usually only takes 1-2 wks. I thought it would be a while for insurance. Thanks all! :hurray:

Oh no!!!:scared2: A few weeks ago we went to an amusement park & the lady almost couldn't shut the bar on the rollercoaster for me :smile: Granted it was a little kids ride BUT HOW :biggrin: I felt!!!

Same for me too. Gain lose over and over :tt2: Now I'm just gaining! :scared2: My little ones have been sayingthings here and there too "mamma, why is your belly so big"? :tt2: OR "Your Bum sure is BIG"! :crying: Out of the mouths of babes huh. :biggrin: I wanna be healthy for my gorls & myself! I don't want to feel tired all the time!!

I don't have any other health serious problems either, that I'm aware of. besides obesity. Hope it goes well for me too.

Yesterday I had my first appointment w/ PCP to tell her my plans & get a referral. It was a bit confusing to them & me. They kept saying they don't usually have to give a referral. This is what my insurance wanted. ANYway, I'm all set up w/ my first info seminar July 8th, then I meet for my first consult w/ surgen July 25th. I am sure I want to have the surgery done & I just hope everything goes well w/ not too many set backs. :rolleyes2:

I don't understand why some people have to do yje 6 month diet & some don't. If I was to do that I'd be under the BMI to get approved. I don't get it

HI! I have anthem N.H. bc/bs I have to have BMI of 35 w/ medical issues OR just a BMI of 40 w/out med. issues. I'm a bit nervous because I know I'm right in between. I think you'll be good from what I here! GOOD LUCK!!

Does everybody have to take the seminars or do just some insurances make you take them?

I have BC/BS NH. Just wondering between everything you had to do how long was it till you got a surg DATE?

I'm so afraid of the same thing happening to me! My husbands company has switched back n forth between Cigna & BC/BS NH. several times. What if I do everything then they swith or I get 1/2 way then they switch!?!?!?
