Hi Everyone I'm from the Pacfic Northwest. I'm just starting the process of getting the Lap Band. I've been looking into this procedure for awhile, but some recent changes in insurance gave me the green light. I work for AT&T (formerly Cingular(formerly AT&T Wireless(Formerly McCaw) and this year we moved into the AT&T Choice Plan (United Health Care) which covers WLS after their big deductable. The prior year plan didn't cover it. I'm also retired navy and will be using TRICARE Standard which came out earlier this year approving Lap Band retro active to last year. I've already attended the seminar and had a EGD and colonoscopy done at the same time. See the doctor in couple days for the results. I haven't even started the insurance process. Is there anyone out there has dealt with the United Healthcare/Tricare combination
