  1. No he didn't say anything like that to me.. exercise is going to be a part of any surgery no matter what you decide.
  2. I have finally gotten my approval and my date today for July 29th. Would absolutely love to have someone with the same date to take with but close to then would be cool too!(:
  3. I just got my date today and am scheduled for July 29! I am finally getting so excited even though it still feels like a long way away lol.
  4. This is one thing on my goal list for losing weight!!! I cannot wait to hit that goal and be able to jump!
  5. So my facility really only does the sleeve or bypass. I choose the sleeve because I didn't care for the idea of moving things around as well as the malabsorption that comes with it. My surgeon also told me that if needed you can go from the sleeve to bypass but you can't go from bypass backwards... everyone has their own though process tho.
  6. Oh my goodness ladies I am so excited for both of you! While I wait I can listen to advice from you guys about things you wish you had done!(:
  7. I just submitted everything Thursday but I called yesterday just to see if they submitted a date with everything or not and no luck... im in the waitng game now too
  8. I made a few phone calls Friday and they pretty much all said either I would have to start over completely or by the time all my records got transferred and I met with their teams and the re-submitted to insurance it would prob be the same time frame so ill just stick where I am i guess.
  9. Just seeing if anyone is scheduled already for August 2020 with all this COVID stuff going on and people being pushed back farther and farther.
  10. Once I have my insurance approval, is that approval for the surgery or for that specific facility/ surgeon to do the surgery? Im wondering if you can change facilities after that or if you have to stick with them? If you change do you have to go back through the classes and visits?

  12. Met with him today, said they are currently scheduled out midway through August but said by the time I get my approval it may be September. [emoji20] there are numerous clinics in the same area does anyone know once I have insurance approval for the surgery, can I go somewhere else that may be able to get me in sooner or is the approval for that facility and ill have to redo all the classes and such if I want to go somewhere else??
  13. Girl I am so excited for you!!!!! And Danielle, you are going to hear great news today i can feel it
  14. Let me know what he says when you go tomorrow
  15. I hope the best for you! Keep us updated!
  16. Maryeuh.. Did they just give you that date as a tentative date as long as you get approval? Did you call the office to check the status or did you call insurance company?
  17. I meet with my surgeon next week and then they submit to insurance (I already called to see how long it would take for approval/ denial - see impatient!) but I just hate all this unknown! I have no idea how long it is going to take to get a surgery date. With all the delays due to coronavirus, I know a lot of people were postponed and they will get the first surgeries available (As they should!) But does anyone know anything about how far back they are being push? My biggest fear right now is that they will call and say the first opening they have is like September or something crazy.... I hate the unknown.
