Was wondering if anyone wanted to get together to watch the game on Thursday either somewhere or at my place?

I spent the night in the hospital but my husband stayed that night with me. I was happy he did since my nurses were crap. The next day I was sleeping most of it so didn't do too mcuh. I had liquid tylenol and PM. Water, etc.

I've noticed that when I walk long distances or excercise I get a pain in my pelvis. It's always on the left side and doesn't seem to go away after an hour. It usually lasts all night. Does anyone else get this, know what it is?

I've got the Jillian Michaels game. It is really good.

I can't wait to eat my sushi again or atleast try. I LOVE it and definately miss it already.

I was told to do 3/4 cup for liquids/full liquids and now I'm supposed to do 4 tablespoons for pureed. I'm starving now! It doesnt make sense to me!

Is 4 tablespoons all we are supposed to be able to eat? I feel like that's NOTHING. Why would it say to go from 4-6 oz of liquids/full liquids to 4 tablespoons of pureed?

How soon after surgery can one eat salad? I'm craving it and really want it but we have no idea when I can eat it. I'm 3 weeks out as of Monday. I've been doing good with ground beef, deli turkey, cheese and things like that. Is it okay to eat it if I chew chew chew? I feel like everything can be apple sauce consistency if you just chew it really well.

I have the Syntrax Nectar Protein Sample pack. I don't like it but a lot of people love it because it tastes like Kool-Aid. If you would like to buy some, I'll sell them to you.

WE waited a week. I've been telling him 6 weeks and he was kind of okay with that and said he'd torture me until our cruise in March. I didn't think I could handle that and apparently, I can't even handle a week! Haha We were gentle. He's freaked out about hurting me!

I LOVED my button!! It was my best friend. I'd pass out and wake up, press my button, talk to my husband a bit until I passed out again. He stayed wtih me the whole night so if I woke up, I checked on him to make sure he was comfortable and everything. I just wanted to sleep and thats what I did except when I got bothered by the nurses or beeping of the machines. The machine they put on your legs to keep the clots out made me relax and put me to sleep. I wanted to take it home with me!

I'm not much! I'm on full liquids for another week and I'm going insane!! I was banded a week ago and I'm just now feeling the effects of not eating!!! I had split pea Soup last night and it kept me full for a while.

I've had really loose BM since I've been home from the hospital. I am wanting it to stop!

Hey! I'm getting better as the days go on. I would definately recommend staying overnight if you feel you need to. I did and I definately wouldn't change that. I actually got called by the hospital to come in about an hour and a half earlier then expected but still didn't get into surgery until about 2. I had some really bad nurses but since my Husband was there, he was able to get me stuff I needed. MAKE SURE YOU GET LIQUID PAIN MEDS. They gave me pills and I had to call them today to get some liquid cuz the pills made me hurt too bad. I've got alot of pain in my back, shoulders..I guess it's from gas or something. I don't know but it hurts. I've been tryin to walk alot and it seems to help. Good luck tomorrow!!

I feel you on the liquids. I'm going insane!! I only have to do like 4 days of it but still, I've had the worst hunger pains in the world. Good luck!:rolleyes2: I'm being banded the same day!!

I'm getting banded 12/15 too! I can not wait!! Seems like I have it a lot easier then everyone else. I have my pre-op on 12/11 and thats when I start my pre op diet. I've been trying to do liquids for these 2 weeks leading up to it, but it's really hard. Any advice?

It is possible and the only reason I'm answering this is because I've done it.. It's not really squirting like across the room or what you see in porn. I "gush" more then squirt.:thumbup: It usually only happens from really good clitoral stimulation!

I'm 20 and my Dr. never even asked my age. I don't think that that is an excuse. I think that wanting to do it at this age is a good thing. I'm so excited to be getting my life in my own hands and being in control of things. I'm doing this for myself, my future children and my health. I've wanted WLS since I was like 13 and it's so unreal to me that it's finally happening. Go for what you want! I was married 2 weeks before my 19th birthday also. My husband was in the Navy when we met but got out when we started dating. If you ever want to chat, just message me on here.

The Wii Fit cost $89 but you have the get the Wii Console too. I love my Wii Fit just haven't gotten into using it a lot yet. I'm definately going to start when I have my surgery.

What activities have you found on the Wii Fit that give you the best work out??

Is anyone able to eat sushi? I'm not banded yet but I LOVE sushi and I really don't want that to be taken away but I will give it up if I'm not able to have it.

I'd love to go to a con. but really can't afford one in NYC/NJ. I'm going on a cruise for spring break in March and can't afford 2 trips. Hopefully if there is another one over the summer, I'd love to go. Keep us updated!

Hey Rachel. This is my name on here. Lol.. I was seeing if there was anyone else but the two of us on here from Gainesville or close enough to get together sometime. Hopefully there is. But you know we can always figure out something and get together if you want.
