You said... "my bitterness", so obviously you admit that you are bitter... that's a good thing.... THis is how I feel, it's not about believing what Wassa says or not just because you are telling me not to.... I believed that you were hurt at first, but I personally went and read all your posts, because I wanted to know about you for myself, not because Wassa said anything... and I found that mostly your posts are very bitter, if not all.. I also found many contradictions, which indicate lies... and even on this particular post, you keep insulting and keep being extremely bitter and accusatory, so that tells me that's how you are... and that unfortunately I can't trust you anymore.... or believe everything you have said... I'm sorry... Hey, I did try .... actually I believed you at first like I said, but your attitude, posts and words are just too much, too bad, too nasty... WOW! I didn't know, I apoplogize, I went strictly by what she said in this thread and I believed her..., and even felt bad that I was a little harsh when I tried to explain and defended myself..... You have a good point, however, I think that most people are trying either to defend themselves or explain their points to her, which I think it's only human... I guarantee you that "I" am not bitter towards her, I was hurt at some of her comments, I may have been defensive as well, but I'm not bitter, in fact, I believe that she has had a very tough life and she does have reasons to feel the way she does,and I would LOVE for her to feel better and more positive, because I know that ultimately it would be better for her, and I'm saying this because I have also had a tough life myself and I know how it affects you, and not until I let go and tried to live in the present and forgave and became a more positive person I was able to feel better and have a better life, so but no bitterness from me.

I don't think you were insulted, you insulted others and others defended themselves, pray for you? didn't do it yesterday when I was in a hurry, but I will do it today, believe it or not...I know you don't want it, but I'll do it anyways.... Hypocrisy during Christmas or any other time of the year is very real in people, but should that matter? as long as you know you are not being hypocrit, we should be ok, and you don't have to be a believer to enjoy the holidays either... did you read other posts?

I agree that the commercialization of it is not the best part...:omg: I'm a sucker for donating and giving to organizations, so that part I don't mind, I even try to do it all year round as much as I could, have them taken out of my paychecks , etc.. What the heck is wrong to adopt welfare fraud and high taxes as a platform, and why is wrong to be vocal about it? many, many agree with that, it's a very good thing to be vocal about it and it's an even better thing to adopt it as a platform, I'm sure you agree with democrats adopting gay marriage, socialized medicine , pro abortion and other issues as part of their platform, so why not welfare fraud or high taxes? do you see anything wrong with that? do you think that because republicans may emphasize on that is because they resent helping people in need? otherwise why are you so taken by the fact that it's part of their platform, I see it as a great thing! in fact, thank you for bringing it up, in my opinion, it helps republicans...

Well, I never said that "Bjean" said that republicans are cold hearted, I said that many democrats portray us that way, I hope you are not one of them since you are being defensive about it, again, I never said it was you. The media? most of it scores left, CBS, The New York Times,Los Angeles Times and I can keep going on and on all afternoon about this... so I refuse to go by how the media portrays republicans, that for sure is a given.. Welfare fraud and abolition of taxes? It sure should be a hot topic in democratic conventions too! and I'm glad it is in republican conventions, heck yes, shouldn't we all be against welfare fraud? shouldn't we all be for monitoring these programs so that taxes shouldn't have to be raised? that doesn't mean not helping the ones who need it...it doesn't mean that at all..:eek:

That's what is intriguing to me, that a bunch of people in my office that claim to be Democrats were the ones complainting, it was about Katrina actually... I just wonder if some democrats are really honest about portraying themselves as so caring.... Oh gee, I have many republican friends who are very caring, giving and as far as not to like paying taxes... who does? sure it would be nice to get a clean paycheck, but we all pay it wether we like it or not because we know it's necessary , the republicans that have posted here have not stated that they resent paying taxes for people that are on welfare, from what I understand they have said that they don't like it when it's abused and taken advantage of and that is totally different, but many democrats want to interpret it that way and use it against republicans.:heh:

I'm sorry that you have to feel this way, I truly am.. you do sound like a very nice person. I will add that many people think that all Christians do is think of ways to convert others to Christianity... which is also not true.. I agree with what you said, I also agree with points that were brought up by others in this thread... it's complicated and brings out many emotions on people...

You are right about being passionate and being a good thing, and I am! when I said I don't care, I meant I don't care if Robin or any other person in particular still can't see that the question was indeed answered, because it really doesn't matter because it's not going to affect the way I feel, I din't mean that I dont' care about the subject itself in general or the debate... it's hard for me to express what I feel while I'm posting as opposed to in person, sometimes it's missunderstood or just doesn't come out right....

And I will add that since the opinion of a Republican was mentioned, I work with mostly democrats and I have heard them say plenty of times that they resent that we have to pay taxes to support the "lazy a$$ people" that are on welfare.... the guy that is sitting next to me expressed it just like that and he is 'Big time democrat" at least that's what he claims.... and they were talking among each other and they agreed... I heard it myself.... so if it's a republican or a democrat who feels that way is irrelavant.... in my opinion it's what's right or wrong, what's fair or not, what's in people's hearts ultimately.... I believe that we should help those in need, help them to get on their feet , but we should not allow them to live off of our government. I find unfair that many times Republicans are portrayed by the Democrats as cold hearted people that don't want to help others... what a big lie that is....

I see your point, and I am also proud, happy and humbled to be able to help others in need, I feel very strong about that in my heart, but when it's abused, it's not fair to any of us, it's not right, does that make the program bad? NO, it's some people who make it bad and therefore the programs should should be monitered in a way that would help to the ones that really need it and not to the ones taking advantage.... that's how I feel....
