  1. I'm not having any problems meeting my water 64oz or proteins 70grams each day. No more soreness or pains. Still not lifting over 30lbs. Feel like before surgery.
  2. Right now I'm 220lbs and 5'6", I was 287lbs. I lost 60lbs before surgery.
  3. I tried 1 piece of black forest ham on day 5. Chewed to a pulp, went down fine. The next morning at 1am I ate one more with no problems. So I woke up this morning after fasting last night for labs this morning with my PCP office. I explained what I had done and explained that my surgeon was made aware that I ate lunch meat already. He said some people advance and heal faster than others. He said I'm at least craving protein. He asked if I've been getting all my protein in each day. I told him yes as I am. He said he will confer with my surgeon at the end of the day. He said try a few pieces of turkey or chicken is what he would recommend first. So on the way home I went to Walmart and bought some chicken lunch meat. Came home and eat 2 pieces well chewed, wated for 20 minutes. No growling, no distress just totally quiet. So an hour later I ate 5 slices that I weighed the meat out to be 2oz.. 1.5 hrs later I'm still great.
  4. Thank you all again! I asked my wife for 1 thing when and before we would date. She really looked like I was a mad man. I asked that if her and I were ever to argue, that we never cuss each other and try to make our points without hinting around the subject. She said she had never heard of anyone else doing this. She agreed and said she fell in love with me that day. We have been tother since March 1996. We got Married on February 25th 2000. She has slipped a couple of f you at me but has always apologized pretty soon after. For me I have stood on that oath and have never faultered. We're still going strong. I make an oath or promise, I will keep it.
  5. Thought I was doing good, 2 ingredients; Whey protein Isolate and less than 1% Sunflower lectin to prevent caking.
  6. Bruno was a rescue My wife found for me two December the 28ths ago. He was less than 24 hrs from being put down. He was scared and had been abused. It took alot of time to get him to trust us (around the first 6 months he wouldn't come in the house without me using a leash. He just laid on the back porch scared. He loves everyone and all animals now. He loves his walks and hugs. This is mouse, she almost didn't make it at around 3 weeks when I found her and nursed her with goats milk till she could eat on her own. She is a daddies girl. Milo is my 5 yr old 22lb male that demands my attention at least 10 times a day. I found him during a walk, Milo was around 6 to 7 weeks old and starving. Fed him tuna and wet cat food till he was filled out. He and Mouse still shares my tuna. Everything in this house is fixed except me.
  7. No Piglet can't and won't behave on or off a leash, he is my scurge around here. Was a wonderful puppy and had him snipped at 3 months old. Around 8 months he thought he was top dog of the world. He still hates everyone else but my wife. It's a constant conflict battle around here. He thinks my wife is his, he got the hell whipped out of him once when he bit me and broke skin while handing her her glasses. He's never bit me again. We just live to hate each other. Now my 2 cats and German Shepard get along great. If they get to close the little S**T will take a bite out of them. My German Shepard won't put up with his crap and dragged his butt out the doggie doors and laid on the porch for a few hours not letting him in. Funny as hell.
  8. That slice of deli ham went down like a champ as well. It was purred before each bite slid in over in around 10 minutes.
  9. Betty knows that I love coconut custard pie. She can take it or leave it. I saw the recipe and then I Told her I love her as she is eating her air fried lemon pepper chicken breast and roasted vegetables. Man that smell is to die for. I may make a smoothie with some left over roasted vegetables and a scoop of whey protein Isolate unflavored in it tomorrow. well she said she will make some egg custard next Tuesday the 14th for me. She is a good woman!
  10. After your concern, I put in a call to my surgeon's nurse. She just called me back and said my surgeon has no problems with it as long as I chew to a pulp and eat only around an ounce at a time of one item. I need to find what hurts and what don't. He was impressed I started with ham and not something sweet like canned fruit like most others do. I told him I want meat. He said I can mix lean meat in my shakes as long as it's very small specks left. But nothing with seeds or nuts till after my appointment on the 20th.
  11. I'm going to have to try some syntrax Nectar sometime. I've got around 8 pounds of Whey protein Isolate unflavored powder, so it will be awhile.
  12. Making it the night does nothing but make layers and on top still sits around a 3/4" of foam. I can stir back up, still foams on top.
  13. Took my shower and my third calcium citrate 630mg for today. After this shower the sticky strips started peeling off. Here's what their like now. Of course it's mirrored from the front lens. Hair is coming back with a vengeance.
  14. This is a real F#$Ked up situation. I don't talk to her much a few times a year but her timing is what threw me. When she has had both hips replaced 4 months apart I didn't go to Florida but at least called the next day to make sure my mother is doing well. It was just the timing of the situation. She has always been non motherly. Thank you all for your help. She is going to be out of my life period after that ****.
  15. Here is Bruno just took his pictures. He brings much needed loving to my wife and I.
  16. Just got my first mile walk in with my dog. No pains except normal pre-op never go away pains. Started getting tired on the way back. Time for a shower. I am hoping everyone is feeling better today.
  17. Well today has so far turned out to be EXCELLENT! Except normal everyday pains. I HAVE SO FAR GOTTEN IN 36 OZ WATER AND OVER 60 GRAMS OF PROTEIN AND MY B12 5000MCG AND 2 OF MY 3 CALCIUM CITRATE 630MG. WILL HAVE TO GET BACK ON THE WATER IN 10 MINUTES! My energy level up so I'm going to walk my dog for the first time since the day before surgery. He is super gentle to walk. I can let go of his leash and he will still walk in the heal position. Love this boy. Picture is from 2 yrs ago. White German Shepherd.
  18. I'm very sorry you have been forced to drag up what happened in your past for me! I really shouldn't of started this post because someone always has it worse than me. I was just in aww of the timing. My wife now understands how bad she can be and keeps apologizing that she informed my mother that I was in surgery. Betty just figured that my mother had the right to know. Now she finally after 20yrs of being together knows why my mother has been mostly out of my life. She is now going to be really completely shut out. Stay thirsty my friends!
  19. I guess it's easier to throw out a little protein in the foam than to have to drink it. Yuck. Thanks.
  20. Hello friends! Just wondering if there is a good method besides buying a ninja with a vacuum setup. Thank you for your replies.
  21. I find it very strange how 2 different surgeon's tell their patients to follow different directions after surgery. Thank you all for your concerns. [emoji106]
  22. I forgot to add that I'm now my lowest weight since I was 16yrs old. High w 302, Normal w 287, pre-surgery w 239, and Ideal w 165. And 6 days post-op at 219.
  23. My surgeon said he leaves the hole between the new stomach and the first connection bigger than normal and has never had a leak. And only 2 times had a strictures that were easily repaired. He told me around a week out try some very easily chewed foods very little at a time to see what I can handle, and to give at least 2hrs apart from each other with water in between. I STRAIT UP TOLD HIM WHEN WE FIRST MEET THAT I DONT EAT ANYTHING LIKE BABY FOOD EVEN MASHED POTATOES. He told me that he has other patients that don't like their food this way and he will have me be the blender. I will skip a stage and be very careful. I am planning on getting another slice around noonish. Thank you for your concern though. [emoji106]
  24. I thought about that too. I'm wanting meat, it's always been my staple as far as food go. I woke up dreaming about a salted ham. I chewed the hell out of each bite. It was emulsified before I swallowed and took around 10 minutes to eat 1 slice. No grumbling from my gut some of the horse pills I have to swallow were bigger than the bites. And it was great. This body craves meat and always has.
