  6. hey …. did you get your date... I hope all is well....
  7. you are eight weeks or more out. are you eating small meals 3 times a day and adding 1 protein or the other way around.also I was dizzy and weak in the beginning when I was not getting enough calories and was still taking my pressure meds which made my blood pressure too low since the dramatic weight loss.. are you on pressure pills ?
  8. i'm confused ??? at 8 weeks out you can just about eat anything healthy that your tummy tolerates .protein first, vegetables second right??? I just don't eat straight out carbs like rice, pasta and bread anything else just go for it … as long as the portions remain correct for you ...and you getting in your protein and water without going over your calorie intake for you it's all good right? Please let me know if im not correct because i'm 8 weeks out...
  9. hey friend......You doing so good ..love the honesty...……...
  10. good idea..
  11. hey , you already said it yourself.. this is the honeymoon phase and the reese's peanut butter cups can wait till you reach your goal... Keto is fine , nothing against it but I say work your sleeve plan protein and water and( vegetable carbs )only. No rice, no pasta,no bread for now . I was told until at least six months.. you got this .. We did not go through ALL this to cheat ourselves out of the maximum loss possible this six months.... I have been losing inches , not so much pounds . gone from size 22 to size 16 but was 232 day of surgery and 218 now so it's not always the pounds we should be proud of... are you using a tracker? Bariastic tracker is so easy I like it better than fitnesspal . Consider your official kick in the ASS..... now do better...…………...
  12. next day after surgery...I took the pillow I bought for the ride home(seatbelt cushion) and layed it on the biggest incision on my side and turned right over on it and side slept beautifully !!!!
  13. DON'T DO IT !!!!! I quit six weeks before my surgery after 15 years . I really wanted the surgery and I also had tried so many times to quit and only started back again and hated myself.. I am not 8 weeks out from surgery so the 8 plus 6 makes 3 and a half months since I smoked and there is no devil in hell that would make me start back again . please don't do it .. you will be so proud of yourself.. just get past the moments any way you can... it's sooo not worth it. please keep me posted . gonna follow you …..

  15. Calories for the First Six Months Immediately after surgery, your doctor will place you on a liquid meal plan, which helps your stomach heal from surgery. You gradually progress to pureed and soft foods before eating solid foods and establishing a normal bariatric meal plan. Once you're able to eat solid foods, the typical gastric bypass meal plan for the first six months consists of three small meals and two snacks for a total of between 1,000 and 1,300 calories per day. Calorie Breakdown The goal of your post-surgery meal plan is to get enough nutrients while adjusting to the smaller size of your stomach. Aim to balance each meal with protein and vegetables or fruit and get at about 50 grams of protein daily. If you're following a 1,000- to 1,300-calorie post-surgery meal plan a good goal is to have two snacks contain 100 to 150 calories each. Based on the calorie range of this plan, your three main meals contain roughly 250 to 350 calories each.
  16. hey girl.... you may need to increase your calories... that's kinda low for all the you do even without the workout it's low . your body may be in starvation mode which makes it hold on to the weight... try increasing those calories with good stuff though...
  17. it's all good … it is to be expected sometimes we lose inches and some times its pounds...bet your clothes don't fit the same.. just keep doing right with the water and protein which by now should be from mostly dense food and not the shakes. I been on the same weight number for weeks now but Im down to a size 16 from a 20
