  13. I posted how much Pilates ring has done wonders for my legs & arms & recommended to everyone!
  14. Resistance training worked for me. I used Pilates ring. Made huge difference in my 135 weight loss.
  15. Thanks so much, Kelly, for your detailed reply! I was disappointed that no one responded when I remembered there were some Aldi loving posters! Really appreciate it & will check it out!
  16. Hi- I’m going to Aldi’s tomorrow. What goodies should I look for?
  17. I’m 16 months post op & 130 lbs down. At Drs goal but want to lose another 15. During my journey experienced many stalls for no reason at all. For 2 MONTHS stuck at 160-161. Back & forth. Then all of a sudden dropped to 155. Did nothing different. Just followed the course. Since this stall happened later in the journey didn’t stress as much as I had in the beginning. Remember. When you stress it raises cortisol which can create weight gain. For beginners I’ve always suggested to take measurements, try on clothes vs always jumping on scale. For me that was very hard habit to break. Used to weigh daily. Finally during losing process I was able to pick the same day each week- Wednesday- & weigh then. When you get to goal you should weigh yourself more frequently so any weight gain can be addressed immediately. I have great program were we had weekly support group meetings & we still continue now with zoom meetings. It’s so important to reach out to others like this so keep doing it. I’ve learned so much by sharing & with our therapist who leads group. Biggest lesson. Stay the course. It works!

  21. What a tease with very little info! What is name of product? How many carbs? Where did you get it?

  26. I’ve been fortunate that all my friends & family have been very supportive of my weight loss. And not everyone knows I’ve had surgery! Most do but a few that I felt might be initially negative I just told them working on getting healthy @ 66! And man I see off & on who I did NOT tell even sent card how happy I’m concentrating on my health! I think one reason many are so supportive besides being good friends & family is I’m very upbeat about getting healthy. And those that know I’m very open with about changes in my lifestyle. I’ve been part of dining out group. I did not stop going just because of surgery. I don’t want to end that part of my social life. Dining out is not just about the food. It’s about the fun of socializing, ambiance of restaurant & yes I can still enjoy food but in moderation. Are there any of your friends that you feel close enough to & worth salvaging friendship to address these issues? If not then it’s time to do some self discovery & eventually surround you with more positive people. Otherwise it will only sabotage you. Good luck!

  28. Maybe try this reset. It’s worked for me when stalled. Perhaps if you concentrate on this 5 day reset with success it will get you back on track. Good luck!
  29. Thanks. I’ll google it & see if shows if it’s distributed nationally.
  30. These are for breakfast. But 9 pieces are way too much for me. 2-3 are good for breakfast or as snack. I even cut them up & put in omelette. They are new. Bought at my local Publix where they have other Jimmy Dean breakfast in refrigerator section. I’m sure Walmart will have soon too.
