    Tips for Success

What more is there to say after Tiffy's post! I'm 1 year 4 months out, lost 100#. My advice: STICK TO INSTRUCTIONS AT THE VERY BEGINNING...it sets you up for sucess...my hardest time was my fist 2 months... I took on a totally different attitude towards food....At first I mourned it, then I was disinterested, then I treated it as energy (i.e. food in=energy out) Then...eventually, I came back full circle to comfort, savory enjoyment....in between all that, I had a hell of an emotional journey (which is still happening!) I eat what I like, what I crave, what I want...I LOVE IT!! Believe it or not, it will be a challenge to EAT ENOUGH CALORIES (at least for me it is) Keep reading posts here, its hands down the BEST INFORMATION you can find out there, from real people who are living it everyday!! Hope this helps!! Good Luck! Shontel

    Breasts:

To answer the original post: Scars or Sag? Before you begin to seriously sag, you might thing 'sag' lol I was really worried about scars before my Breast Lift/Augmentation...once I saw those puppies i was like....screw the scars these girlies are SWEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTT!!!! TRUST ME, scars are the biggest thing you worry about before you get em, and the SMALLEST thing you think about after you get em!! There are also some EXCELLENT scar therapy's out there now. I'm just 2 weeks out and my scars are already fading with the help of Mederma. Also, I should mention here, that having a boob job will make you look more porpotined again (I didn't go super hudge) you will get volume back in your chest area, yeee haaaaa!!

    boob job question...

I didn't go to Mexico, though I know a lot of women do. I did go to Mexico for my VSG surgery. One of the reasons I decided to stay closer to home for this procedure, is that post op breast lift/breast augmentation is a process that needs to be closely supervised. You will need multiple follow up appointments to ensure they are healing properly and dropping into their final position. I knew this would be an investment but for me, but it was worth it. I have had no problems whatsoever but have had 3 post op appointments with another one in a week....I like knowing that if I need to, I can receive proper follow up. a side note here.....I had problems after I had VSG that was related to one of my surgical wounds, I got HORRIBLE treatment post op here in the states. By that I mean, they (mainly the doc's, but a lot of nurses as well) totally judged me, smirked at me, I had doctors flat out tell me I was 'irresponsible' for going there....that is a whole other thread I could start..lol I just didn't want to go through all that again either! Hope that Helped!!

    Need New Boobies

Some plastic surgeons want to make sure your weight is STABLE, that you've been able to maintain and are steady before they will operate. I suggest this as well as your weight will affect the final result you want. Hope this helps!

    boob job question...

2 weeks ago, I had a breast lift with implants. I have a full anchor lift along with areola reduction. I have never lost sensation, although I can tell you I hear from lots of women that the 'sensual' feeling for many does not return. A trade off I gladly take considering I have some pretty girlies now!!
  15. Hello everyone. I haven't been here in a very long while but wanted to check in and say that I'm doing GREAT. I've lost about 100 pounds!!! Trying to maintain now without losing too much, just wanted to say hey!! Shontel
