  1. How easy is it to get addicted to that f****** scale???? I swear, mine is in my closet, and every time I go to get something to wear its just staring at me with this evil glare going 'you KNOW you want to step on me' ahhhhhhhhhh!!! I have forced myself to only get on once a week, and I try to do measurements once a month. Its a battle isn't it, when your fat, when you lose, when your losing..and everywhere in between...(btw, can you tell I'm catching up on your blogs today?? ha ha)

  2. Tiff...I'm glad I'm not the only one! I never thought I was vain, but I, too, am all about what will make me look younger...planning a consult with an anesthetician...bo tox me baby...lmao...I guess I am getting what I asked for, but before, I never realized aside from the 'health' benefits what that was, harsh reality no doubt.

ToonTown- Guess we all learn as we go. I am learning things I really don't want to, but such it is and I've always been resilient that way. But I'm not going down without a fight, i.e. wrinkles, flab, sag...I'll fight you to the death!! lmao...

thanks everyone for your kind words and comments, really means alot to me!

  3. DeeDee, I think each and every one of us are the hardest on ourselves. I was going to blog about this very same issue! I wore a bikini, yes a bikini when I was over 200#, and I thought, well this isn't THAT bad (wrong!) but the point is, its getting to know the new you. We all have to familiarize ourselves with our new body-good and bad. You look fabulous by the way!!

  4. Tiff-my pets are my life. We had a Catahoula Curr Dog who was a member of our family as well...rushing to meet us, licking us to death. She was mauled by another dog, and didn't make it. My daughters couldn't bear to see her buried, so me and my fiance buried her in the backyard. My dad made a headstone. I'll keep you in my prayers, remember, everything happens for a reason, even though we don't understand it.

  5. aHOMEgal, we're not trying to scare...lol...I know for me, info from how others were doing at various stages helped and inspired me. Its not that I don't still LOVE to cook, its just that at this time (and I'm sure it will pass) I'm not getting the pleasure out of it that I used to because I'm literally NEVER hungry. I think it will pass as I've read, and I'll find my 'normal' soon...:)

  6. Yes its the hole where the port was removed, and I had the Allergan band. They gave me Bactrim antibiotic (1 per day for 10 days) I am completely healed after about 3 weeks of packing, no complications whatsoever. Good Luck and let me know if you have any other questions!! :)

  7. I'm having the same protein problem. Stopped doing shakes...just cant do them anymore. I have tried carnation instant breakfast which is working for me, also trying different protein bars. 48g ain't to shabby if you ask me...I'm 2 months out lost 40#

  8. Tiff, its really crazy sometimes I guess, I'm learning everyday things I could eat before that ain't happening now. Take for instance last night, a nice cup of dark hot chocolate...milk has never bothered me, I was thinking since the mix had milk in it also then I combined it with milk, just too much..I made my little path to the bathroom all evening...lesson learned! :)
