amithistrose got a reaction from Lynda486 in Alone After Hospital
I know people who have been alone and have done fine. For the most part you will be very tired and just want to rest up, keep a phone nearby and ask a friend or neighbor to check in on you.

when I started looking into this 2-3 years ago, I was told to expect about $8000-10,000 per procedure, with the lower body lift (LBL) counting as two procedures (because they do so much with the LBL - front, back, mons lift, etc). I had three consults and did find that guesstimate to ring true. It may be a little higher now since it's been a couple of years, but that should at least give you a ballpark idea. It'll vary a little depending on the surgeon (if he/she is nationally known and/or has 30 years of experience, except to pay on the higher end) and location (it'll cost you more in New York and LA than it will in Helena, Montana), but again, that should at least give you a ballpark idea...

I went to the Dominican Republic and had Dr. Eusebio. He was wonderful! I had everything done, including a Brazilian butt lift for around $6000.

be careful with this. my insurance covers a panni..and breast reduction.. but after my consult with my dr and she showed me what the ins will cover vs what could be done.. i am not going to go through the insurance. the panni only covers the skin below the belly button.. i have a lot more skin than that to be taken care of. and for the breast reduction there needs to be the amount of tissue there to remove. you also have to have medical issues that require the panni and breast reduction with all of the issues documented through the dr.. rashes, infections, in ability to move.. for the breast reduction, soreness. indents in shoulders, cup size has to be larger than a ddd.. marks left on upper abdomen from them constantly rubbing against it.. i used to have all that, but since the weight loss i dont.

I went to a Plastics DR and told him what I wanted and then he submitted everything to the insurance. I had wanted a Tt, a boob lift and my legs done. My insurance only covered the Tummy Tuck

Does anyone know how to get your insurance company to help with the loose skin part?
