Just wondering if anyone here is from Central NJ or anywhere in NJ

im a annual passholder. i go a lot but took off this last year to get my life together as far as surgery and focusing on losing, so i was well aware of it, but my niece is the biggest little tom boy!! when i asked her what disney princess he wanted to be, she said " i want to be rey from star wars" so guess what? thats exactly what maggie is going to be. she rather be on the rides!! she cracks me up but i cant complain.

we are doing the "be our guest" lunch where she gets to meet all the princesses tho!!

I had RNY surgery a year ago but I'm still lacking in making solid connections with others. It's hard to relate when I feel like I always have a secret to hide (loose skin, surgery, etc.) It would be nice to make some new friends and maybe even more! I'd prefer to talk through messages and not through the public forums, so feel free to message! Hopefully I'm not speaking to the wind.

You guys are so great! Surgery went well. I got some aches but nothing insane. So far no vomiting. Happy I'm starting my new life!!!!!

Had sleeve surgery 6/26/18 so i'm 14 months out. I wear a size medium and a 6 in jeans!!! I am still LOVING this new body! Currently at 155lbs which I've been at for quite a few months I'd be happy to stay here for good!

The specific Barimelts Multi that i took was TERRIBLE

I check in the hospital at 7 am tomorrow. Excited and VERY nervous at the same time.

It has been two weeks and I've met my first "mini" goal! Yes, I've missed food but I also want this very bad. I had my follow up and staple removal yesterday and was told no wine for my birthday, in September, but a small glass for my husband's in December would be ok. I have to remember I didn't get in this weight mess in two weeks and it won't go away in two weeks. It is a journey, I know this as I made this trip with the lap band 10 years ago. I also realize when you are as large as I was no one will notice until I lose a lot! The little victories that I have noticed, both feet easily go on the scale, I can go up the front steps without pulling myself up, my knees hurt less. I will take these victories and Celebrate. My husband is very supportive and I have to remember that he also has the right to eat what he would normally eat. He has stepped up and is learning to make his meals himself, that is pretty funny as he's never cooked. I am in a good place today. For those that are starting out, there are good days and there are small victories you can do it.

Howdy sleevers!

My weight has stabilised at about 69kg over the past 5-6 months, and an opportunity came up with my plastic surgeon to take a cancellation surgery place (with 1 weeks notice) for last Tuesday 6th August for my first planned skin removal, FDL Tummy Tuck, and I went for it I had been set to get this operation at end of November.

I got home late yesterday after 5 days in hospital, and with 1 central drain still in place until I see my surgeon for follow up on Tuesday. Very happy with how my tummy is looking so far, and post op pain is being managed with panadol and some endone still. My waist was quite small before the op, but looks REEAAALLY tiny now, even with the post op swelling

I plan to have second skin removal at the end of November, after being in my little sister's wedding party, to get breast reduction and lift. Then further operations for upper arms in inner thighs next year.

Who else has started skin removal operations now post sleeve?

Welcome! I just signed up recently too. I’m 10 days post op. Love all the advice from everybody on here. Hopefully we keep learning more. I’m also not too far from you. I’m in NY.
