  1. If you sell something on E-bay, how do you know how much to put on for the postage part? Like how are you suppose to say how much it is, if you havent gone to the post-office to find out. Do you have to take every item you sell top the post office first? That just can't be true, or is it? Any E-Bay pro's out there?????
  2. Ahhh Neenaugh, I'm sure your okay. Take your painkillers, and stick to your liquids. Give yourself a few more days. If it makes you feel better call the office and talk to Dr. M. before the weekend.
  3. Hey Astrotoes, My surgery was for 7 am too, I was also worried about Dr. Cobourn being a little sleepy, but he was wide awake, and looking mighty fine I must say. Oops, I didnt say that.
  4. I also felt the same way. Remember, this site is here for support. Everyone who has a dilemma comes here but you don't always here from ones doing good, as a matter of fact, alot of people leave shortly after banding. So, don't get to hung up on the problems, but it's good to research them and know about them. I thought it was neat when you said you knew the band was for you. That is exactly how I felt, and if you feel that way, I'm sure your doing the right thing, try to relax. As far as PBing I'll answer you in two parts, the actual PBing is a relief, it's the getting stuck prior to, that hurts. If you've ever taken a huge gulp of something and felt it going all the way down. It's kinda like that, except it stays in one place(where the band is)and can be more or less painful, depending on how big of chunck of food you swallowed. So to PB after that is welcoming, and does not hurt. But should be avoided of course. Just remember.....Small bites and Chew, Chew, Chew!!! Hope that helps!!
  5. Glad your doing better!!! Small bites, and chew, chew, chew is the hardest lesson to learn. I STILL have to remind myself!!!
  6. .........:censored: ......
  7. I'll tell you guys what your doing.....YOUR MAKING THE BEST DARN DECISION YOU'VE EVER MADE IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!! :clap2: :clap2: :huggie: :clap2: :clap2:
  8. I know, I know it does!!!! All I could think of was, 'there's that skinny-_itch from the east'.:heh: Sorry Mandi, but it does look like you.
  9. Welcome Emmily!! I'm not sure what your exact situation is, but I know in Canada, except for Alberta, Lap-Band is not covered, it is self-pay. I do know there are some insurance company's is the US that cover it, but I do not know them, you should try the main forum, you'll get way more info for that. All I can tell you is that Lap-Band was the best thing I have ever done. I wish I could have done it years ago. Personally, I have no side-effects, it been a wonderful and exciting journey. Like everything it has it's ups and downs, but the nice thing is that it's always there working for you. It's been marvelous!!! Good Luck to you, come visit us anytime, or with more questions!!
  10. Hi Mandi, Got a question for ya. When you e-mailed the nurses at the clinic, how long did it take to get a response??? I e-mailed them 3 days ago, and I havent heard back, that seems weird to me. When I e-mailed Dr. Cobourn back in the summer, I got a response by the end of the day, same with Marie.
  11. Hi everyone!! Yoda...............Hmmmmmmmmmm, wellllll yaaaaaa your forgiven:) !! Astrotoes, our breed of sheep are called Rideau-Arcotts, they are known for having mutiple lambs and out-of-season breeding.:huggie: Green, I swear, my husband never goes near the computer. So now he's saying, Oooooo ask her where the REALLY GOOD shops are. You may have to PM me with that info. God, I'm so sorry!!:nervous Anyway, thank you for the info. I'm making a promise to myself to come up from underground. I say that every year, then I get to scared. I'm afraid of freaks or maybe I'll get shot, I dunno. But I'm going to make myself go walk around. Thanks again!!! :update: .......Okay, had to go to the docter today for a physical. She was totally impressed with my weight-loss. Doubt I'll hit my goal this month.:phanvan My oldest daughter is still living with her dumb-ass boyfriend, apparently she wants to be a doormat a little longer. Lambing starts again this Monday for 10 days, hopefully I'll work and shiver my butt off a little, lose a few more pounds:flock: (why are the sheep green?). Green, I'm coming to stay at the Royal York at the end of February for 3 days. Usually we stay at the Sheraton. I usually do all my shopping underground between the Sheraton, Royal York and Eaton's Centre. This year I want to come out from underground and visit some neat shops and restaurants. Can you suggest some, within walking distance, that is??? Thanks for reading about my boring life. I'm still working on those pic's, I just cannot seem to remember how I made them small enough last time, Ahhhh!!!!!!
