Could I eat salad now?

Hello,

I was just wondering if I could eat a salad now? I know I have to chew really well?

Thanks,

Doriana

Well it looks like you are almost 7 weeks post op. I had the green light to start solids as tolerated at 30 days out by my doctor. If you are eating other solid food, I think you should be okay. I can eat salads with no problems. I just chew very well and make sure I have some dressing on the leaves.

Hey Doriana....since you are on solids now you can basically eat whatever you want!!! It is just trial and error...you have to try stuff...what is "hard" for others won't be hard for you...and what is "hard" for you one day won't be hard for you the next day (or even the next meal).

So keep on experimenting......

eveything is "okay" to eat.

Doriana, just what Yoda has told you, if you can tolerate it go ahead and eat it, salad was one of the foods that i had problems with, so i don't even bother with it anymore. Good luck with your solids.:hungry:
