Dr. C. will determine the size of band you will have after he's in (you). It is determined by the stomach size or something like that. There is no difference on how they will preform. But now I have heard that Dr. C. is using a newer version too, so I can't comment on that one.

I finally figured it out!!!! I had a friend come over this morning, and it took about 3 hours, but we finally figured out how to re-size my pics to fit here. Neenaugh, you've been very patient. Here goes....... These pics were taken March 2006 - pre-op... These pics were taken November 2006 - 6 months post-op and 20 pounds ago.

Ooooooo Congrats Yasmina!!!!:clap2: :clap2: I did not have fluro, Yoda probably can explain it better, but I'll try for you. I beleive when Yoda went for her first fill they had a very difficult time finding her port. So, from then on they did the fills under fluro. I think they put you in a kinda x-ray thingy and get you to swallow some glowing stuff so they can see inside you, and can find the port perfectly. It is very rare they need to do this (but ya, it is Yoda ya know:heh: ). You probably won't ever need it, so don't worry to much!! Hi Yoda:nervous .

Ha, Ha, thats neat. When I went for my ultrasound before Christmas, for my kidneys, I told the nurse that she may encounter something strange. When I explained she said that the ultrasound wouldnt pick that up, I was actually dissappointed, I wanted to see it!!!!

Hmmmm, I think I wasnt very hungry for at least 3-4 days after surgery. The liquids did good for about 1-1 1/2, but then the hunger came back good and strong.

Question....Question..... I have a Katrillion Club Z points, so I was looking threw the catalogue and saw on page 60 a 'elliptical machine', (you know, the one that Mandi looks sooo hot on). I was wondering if anyone has a catalogue out there, if it was a good machine or a cheap one. I didnt even know what one was til the other day, but I'm contimplating getting one. Thanks.

good morning andrea The percentage that it will not work for you is slim. To be honest, I really do not understand how it couldnt, but I do not know underlying conditions. If you could lose weight any other weigh, eg: any dieting, then the banding will work. What I mean is if you lose weight when you restrict calories, then it will work. There are some who have medical conditions, that even when they restrict calories weight dosent want to come off, then that could be a problem. So relax, save your $'s, and look forward to a great new you in the future. Keep us informed how your progress goes, we all love to hear!!!

Chew on a few tums and call the doc. It does sound like you may be to tight. However, back in the fall, after I got a fill, I too got heartburn. I cut back to liquids and mushys, then cut out the grease, after about a week everything was normal again. I didnt have shoulder pains though, just heartburn. Take Care.
