  1. Hey Mandi, I just thought of something very funny.......Your parents were probably rock'n on to the beegees when you were concieved.....LMAO
  2. Mmmmmmmm John Travolta, ohhh ya don't forget the Bay City Rollers!! s-a-t-u-r-d-a-y nite!!!
  3. Hi Khrissy, I agree with Yoda, probably not band related. Call Doc, though. It's probably just some residual gas from surgery.
  4. Doriana, hey girl, we are all here cause of lack of portion control. Be good to yourself. Do not beat yourself up. Your still your old self, except with a plastic thing in ya. Wait til the fill, you'll see a difference. BTW. I also had the backed up problem you have, about the same time, too. Work on that right now. Hey, the good thing about that is once things start working again, you usually end up dropping a couple pounds. (Ha, no pun intended)
  5. ...............no, you don't need tongs.....lol That was actually one of the first posts I read last year, scared the crap out of me. (no pun intended)
  6. mookie, the great thing about this site is that no-matter what your question or concern is, there apt to be someone here that has been through the same thing, or feels the same way.
  7. Carol, you have done absolutly amazing!!!! WOW!!!
  8. Tee Hee, Silly Yoda, I think she meant lost 100 lbs, not be 100 lbs. Good Luck to everyone on their goals!!!!
  9. Wow!!! Great NSV's!!! We Rock, Eh???? Angel Bear, I also went up a couple pounds, pales in comparison to last year, though. I'm not worried, once tommorow night is over everything holidayish is going in the garbage. I actually CAN'T WAIT!!!
  10. Hey Mandi, maybe one of the people who saw you at the bar,"looking good", will get the message back to the ex. Like, "Hey, I saw Mandi over christmas break, man, she's looking hot"!!!
  11. :welcomeB: Ahubar!!! I'm glad you found us too!!! Isn't Dr. Cobourn great??? You should eat your mushies slowly and carefully, until you are satisfied. But don't get discouraged, remember you havent had a fill yet. You may be able to eat more than you think you should. Come on here anytime, ask as many questions as you like!!! Welcome again!!
  12. Hey, I think that's so great that 3 of you are getting done the same day!!! And yes, in a room full of estrogen, a little testosrone(?) goes a long way!!! And no, I'm not saying all my wonderful female buddies are bitchy, it's just fun to be able to harrass males too!!!!
  13. Yikes, man, I gotta feed more ice-cream and chocolates to friends and family, gotta get this crap outta my house!!!! But, here goes....how bout 255 by Jan 31st. Were lambing for a week in January, plus I'm thinking about another fill (but I'm not sure if they'll give me one), so I'm not sure how that will work with my goal, but we'll start with that. January goal - 9 lbs
  14. LOL....so if ya feel like bacon wrapped scallops, do ya have to buy the bottle of scallops and the bottle of bacon, then spray them on your tongue at the same time????
  15. I'd have to say that if your having trouble with a Pina Colada, then thats pretty tight. Take Care, and yes, don't forget water, thats VERY important.
  16. I was going to just respond in Lila's thread, but thought we'd get a better array of answers if it had it's own thread. Lila was saying how tight she was. Mandi was explaining how tight she was with her last fill in the first few weeks after. I remember when Mandi went threw that, she could barely eat anything. I was also the same, I went for my third fill in November, took a few days, then bam, was sooo tight, could barely eat anything. Then after a month or so, just like Mandi, could eat a little more close to normal. I'm even contimplateing another fill in January. So whats the deal???? Why, and how can that work?? I'm not complaining, I just don't get it??? Who knows the answer??
  17. congratulations lila!!!
  18. Okay, I need Enlightened. What is dim sum???? Oh, I want to be more worldly. I only ever get a chicken ball, broccoli, and a bit of rice. I swear green, I'm gonna show up at your doorstep one day, and were going to all those neat antique shops and then out for 'dim sum'.:biggrin1:
  19. Do what you want!!!! She was given her own body to worry about. You worry about yours!!!
  20. I started scrapbooking last spring. It is fun and addicting, unfortunatly it can be pricey. I'm thinking about taking a Yoga class in January. I'm a little unsure. I think I would like it for the relaxing, but I'm not quite sure about the headstand stuff. I've got some more pounds to take off first before I attempt things like that. So, I'm not sure I'll go threw with it.
  21. Hey, speak for yourself Yoda! How do you know that I'm not out every night dancing to the BEEGEE's??? Eh? Eh?
  22. That sounds great, and fun! I'm so glad you felt good. I'm assuming your brother-in-law is married to your sister, so if thats true, what was your sister doing wilst he lookish at you! BTW......ONE chocolate almond!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I need to hire a u-haul truck to come pick up all the chocolate in my house right now. I hate it, I'm popping one in mouth every other hour!!
  23. We'll thats sounds like a yummy last meal!! Just remember you'll be able to re-visit there once you get going. Thats's the great thing about our lap-band.
  24. Ohhhhhh yaaaaa, I almost forgot that!!!! LOL The flourescent green slime, I believe that it was really close to halloween too. Oooooo that was a painful one, that's probably why I blocked it out.
  25. Hi Gaffer, I asked Dr. Cobourn about my pool, since my surgery was in May. He told me about 2 weeks, but not too worry about it too much, since it was my own pool and not a public own. (less contamination I guess). I also bought the big Band-aid brand bandages that are water resistant, then before I went swimming I smeared like polysporin or a anti-bactria petroleum jelly over the incisions then applied the bandage and didnt worry about it. ENJOY your hot tub:bathbaby: !!!
