I am almost a year post op in August and I am not at goal, but down 80 pounds. I spoke with my Drs and they did say the weight will be coming off much slower now. I was told to keep following the plan and more weight will come off. I am very guilty of introducing my Starbucks coffee back and sweets now and again, but I am getting back on track counting calories and watching my carbs, exercising and the scale is slowly moving again. I want to get down to 170 and I know that would be a good goal weight for me. 15 more pounds to go!!! Just try to remember why you did the surgery to be a healthier person:)

Good Morning,
My name is Elaine and we have started a little support group on Long Island about a year ago. A bunch of us meet that are at different stages in our journey. It is very informal and nice to chat with others that are experiencing the same issues you may be during your journey.
If anyone else from the area will like to join us we will be meeting this Saturday June 3rd at Panera in Garden City 1140 Franklin Ave at 2:30. The group consist of both men and women.

Hi my name is Elaine and I have a little support group of men and women from Nassau and Suffolk Counties that meet up. Our next meet up is June 3rd 2pm at Panera in Garden City. I did the same thing at 5 months, but I thought just taking a sip here and there I would have been fine. I passed out. Like you I felt horrible, but we both learned from our mistake. I do hope you are feeling better and realize you are not the only one that may have a drink to soon. Do not beat yourself up over it and move on:)
