I was swollen for the first 2 to 3 weeks then I slowly noticed it going away. You are only 5 days out from your surgery give it time, but if you do not feel right call your Dr. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

Did anyone else have an easy recovery? I'm getting downright paranoid....
I am 2 months post op and had no pain or issues from day one. I also thought something was wrong, but my surgeon said just follow my orders and you will do fine. I do follow the plan exactly and that has helped me be totally honest on my food logs my Dr requires us to do. I was able to walk every hour the first two weeks increasing it every few days and that helped me feel good. You are doing fine Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

I had my surgery 8/18/16 and like everyone else here constipation is the main issue. I am taking a probiotic every day but still a bit if an issue. Once, I can get more fiber in hoping that will help. I am on the soft food stage for over a month and not having any issues with food. My starting weight was 263 I am no down 43 pounds. Yes, I have had stalls also but I keep going on my Drs orders and all is working out. I exercise a 1 to 2 miles 5 days a week. I was wondering how soon can you fly again? Both of those days work for me also just after 2pm since I work until 1. We can meet at Tanger or there are two nice coffee shops in the town of Babylon. Babylon Bean or there is a new one a few stores down from the Cold Stone which is just past the train on the left side. The newer one has excellent coffee. Let's see what works for whoever would like to meet up. - Sleeve scheduled for 10/19- would you do it again?
