I drank lemon juice in my Water for many years but stopped after surgery as it didn't taste good to me anymore. Maybe i'll try again now that it's been a few weeks.

I just started drinking lemon Water again and I am 2 mo the post op. I am doing well with it no issues drinking lemon water.

You can have infused water on your first post op day. Honey is sugar, empty calories, so I would wait on that. Crystal light doesn't have any vitamins C but it is nice to have different tastes. I like lemon cucumber water right now.

I'm 1 week post op and I added lemon in my Water and I was fine. I love lemon though I can put it on anything! Lol

.

I put hot sauce in my chicken broth!

I would avoid it if you're dealing with any GERD.
