  5. I actually took my vitamins every day for 31 days, that is the first time it's happened on probably 2 years or more. And I can feel my energy again. The pills were just too much I hated taking them. This made all the difference.

  12. That's what happened to me when I tried it! I'm like **** I could get drunk multiple times a night hahaha
  13. I am almost a full 7 years post op. Since we aren't supposed to have carbonated beverages with bypass I haven't...but I have had mixed drinks...it hits me super quick....I get really really buzzed....and move to water and sober up pretty quickly. I don't really care for Alcohol regardless but I tried it and it hits me quick personally
  14. From experience I would say. Make sure you're getting all the protein you're supposed to. AND drinking lots of water. I lost a total of 115 after surgery. 250 to 135 a stall is normal
  15. If you Google 5 day pouch reset it will tell you exactly what to do. To be honest I LOVE carbs. What it really did for me the biggest was help me get myself to stop so many carbs. So now I am watching how many carbs I am eating. I don't eat more than 30 a day currently.... hopefully I can keep it up

  17. Great! It really helps you cut out the carbs. And I do feel like it's helping I feel a little more restricted. And the bonus is I've lost 6 lb since Monday.
  18. I actually don't mind the flavor...would I drink a whole glass No....but a quick shot....I can handle and be done ?
  19. I figured the long term affects from not taking my vitamins the way I should or ever would far outweigh the cost for me. Just had to cut back on something small after that first initial investment.
  20. I am HORRIBLE about taking my Vitamins. So many pills and they fill me up soooooo much. So I recently got the tespo Vitamin dispenser with the bariatric vitamin bundle....tastes soooo good and will make it soooo much easier to take my vitamins!

  23. in October of 2012 I went to my primary care doctor and discuss the possibility of weight loss surgery with him. He agreed that it was a good option for me. So he referred me to a weight loss surgeon in North Carolina, it all seemed very fast tracked by November 12th I was having my gastric bypass surgery. I started my own weight loss journey before surgery in January of 2010. My starting weight was 305 I got myself down to 210 and then gained 40 back that was when I decided on surgery to help me .. Fast forward to now..... My weight on November 12 2012 (surgery day) was 250 lb today I'm at 150 lbs. I got as low as 135 but have gained some of it back. ( Which I will take back off) here are me at my heaviest and now!
  24. This liquid day...day 1 is tough. I want solid food lol
  25. Oh yes! For about a month or 2 after surgery I was a hormonal nightmare. No one warned me. It was awful
  26. They wanted me to lose 15 lbs only to prove I had what it took to make myself successful.
