  5. Ty for all the input... yes everyone’s answers have helped me.. I’m definitely going to do some digging and see what is causing this.. hey! I’m ok with not taking the cymbalta, saves me one more monthly bill , but I’m also scared that I may hit rick bottom and be a wack a doodle without it too, im just paying attention to myself, I’ve not gone back to work yet either and I have a high level of emotions of ups and downs daily there, time will tell!! Thanks everybody!!!

  7. Pre surgery I took cymbalta daily since 2005 and if I missed a dose the next day I would have uncontrollable crying spells, since the surgery 4/17/19, I haven’t taken it.. no emotional breakdowns I sometimes feel like I want to cry but just a thought of something else and boom it goes away, I happy about that, but are there emotions related to some parts of the stomach that is taken out with the gastric sleeve??? I kinda feel like I have no feelings and I don’t dare be a cold, uncaring emotional person.. any input???

  12. Well I’m 4 days post op and just now able to walk upright.. lol I went to the gym to walk on the treadmill, I was so embarrassed as other people are walking fast, jogging and such, I’m only able to walk at 1.7 mph and still feel a little pain and couldn’t walk but about half a mile.. how long does the site usually hurt on the side the Dr takes the part of the stomach out?

  24. Just remember, we didn’t gain all the weight in one day and we are not going to loose it quickly either, I have been going to the gym pre op, I just put my head phones on and do me.. those hard bodies didn’t start off like that, so just work at your pace until you get where you want.. you got this!!!
  25. At the end of the day, you are at home with YOU! And you are doing this for you.. I have been a people pleaser all my life and at 47, I decided it me that deals with me! I have 2 people that are mad at me for doing it, but they are skinny people, they don’t know the hurt and the struggles that I have, so I have decided to smile and be nice to them and do it for ME.. I’m getting it done April 17, and I’m. Happy about it.. I’ve tried and failed so many times and I’m going to win at this.. do it for YOU.. not for anyone else,..
