  1. I had vsg. I have been to multiple doctors and they have run tons of tests. They say it could just be my bodies way of reacting to the surgery. With 4 school age kids to run around everywhere it takes its toll on you not feeling good.
  2. How are you doing now? I am currently 7 weeks post op and have been horribly nauseous the past few weeks. It doesn’t matter what I eat or drink. I am having an even harder time to get my protein in. Everyone just keeps saying it takes time for you body to heal. I am just tired of feeling like ?. I have lost 45 lbs but only a lb or two in the last few weeks, sometime I even gain a few pounds, which is weird when you can’t keep anything down.
  3. Are you feeling any better? I am almost 8 weeks out and I still feel awful. Can’t eat or drink much of anything without throwing up. They have ran multiple tests and just keeping saying it takes time for you body to heal. I feel nauseous even when I am not eating or drinking. I just want to not feel bad. I have also had horrible acid reflex, which I never had before sleeve. Anyone had that, and does it ever get better?
  4. Are you feeling any better now? I am 5 weeks out, and can hardly keep water down. I am hoping the nausea gets better, as I am miserable right now.

  6. I am almost a month out and my chest still hurts when I take too big of drinks. Even drinks that I think were tiny. In the beginning it hurt a lot more, the pain does get better. Hang in there.

  11. That’s great you look that good, and haven’t had to start exercising yet. I am 3 weeks post op and struggling with eating. May I ask what your typical day looks like food wise?

  13. I am 3 weeks post op and I have had that same feeling the past week two weeks. The dr just keeps telling me to eat or drink slower. I am taking tiny sips and drinking slow. I feel so nauseous that I am not getting my recommended protein or water because I feel so sick. The dr finally prescribed me some anti nausea pills, which have helped some. Hoping you find relief soon, not feeling well sucks!
  14. You look amazing! Can I ask how much exercising you incorporated after surgery to achieve your goal?
  15. I am about 3 weeks post op and on the purée phase for the next three weeks. I am at a loss as to what to eat, as everything I have tried tastes horrible except for yogurt and broth. It also doesn’t help that I cannot keep down my chewable vitamins and the protein shakes are making me feel nauseous all the time. Any ideas of other things to eat?
